  1. Did she say why you weren’t eligible? Do you think because you booked with TA or your fare was non refundable?
  2. If you call early morning the wait times seem to be shorter. Only 10 minutes when I called about March Caribbean cruise, save $500 additional and total $500 OBC. The other Caribbean saved $100 and $500 OBC. These both had refundable deposits. other cruises we have booked didn’t change.
  3. I did see the video, but no other information yet. My friends are currently on the Noordam so maybe get some info from them.
  4. We’ll be on board Eclipse in September, I’m starting to get excited so it will be nice to follow along on you adventure.
  5. Where did you see this. I can’t seem to find anything about any slide today. I’ve checked all the roll calls for ships in port today and no mention. Also googled and nothing for today.
  6. I never wear closed toe shoes. Open toes rain or shine and even in the snow. Wear what makes you comfortable.
  7. We used HOHO bus in Vancouver in 2019. It was great then. We we planning to use it again this year but no so sure this because of reviews and also there seems to be less stops than before. Hopefully you hear from someone with more recent experience.
  8. I live in California and went on Shoppers Drug on Pender, Vancouver, I clicked make an appointment but then it wouldn’t take me any further? Not sure what I did Wrong. I guess I will call?
  9. I will call but would like to know why I wasn’t able to do online. I thought someone who had done it would have an answer.
  10. We are arriving Vancouver September 9 2022 for cruise leaving September 11. We plan to get tested September 9. I went into shoppers drugs website and when I click make appointment the page has no where to go to next step. Has anyone tried making online appointment with them? I do not want to do proctored test, I just don't trust my computer skills and poor internet connection. I'm already too stressed over this. Any help will be appreciated. Which test do we need for cruise?
  11. Try to call first thing in morning. That seems to work.
  12. Location of the cabin and if it’s an M class ship the room is a little larger.
  13. We saved $160 on each of 2 Caribbean cruises and got the added $400 OBC on 1 of them having already added OBC to the other one in the last promotion. Every little bit helps and I just keep checking. No further savings for our May 2023 Mediterranean or 2024 Caribbean cruises.
  14. I booked several excursions for our September Alaska cruise back in early May. I have checked periodically and even with the current sale I still paid less. I will keep checking just in case. Like earlier post says book now and keep checking because some tours will sell out.
  15. I intend to do a home test day before we leave just in case. No sense boarding plane if we are positive. I'm a little afraid of proctored test in case problem with Wifi. I think we will use facility at Canada Place and just pay a bit more.
  16. Thank you all for quick response. I know I'm overthinking but like I said this will be our first cruise since Covid started. Also I'm not that computer literate when it comes to apps and uploading and downloading, its all overwhelming to me. Again thanks everyone, it looks like we will test day we arrive in Vancouver.
  17. I put this on Celebrity thread because not a lot of action on the Alaska or Vancouver boards
  18. I know there are many threads on this but I’m still confused on when to test prior to our Alaska cruise out of Vancouver September 11, 2022. Tunis is our first cruise post Covid so stressed over the process. We fly into Vancouver very early September 9 so am I right that I will need to test after we arrive to meet the within 2 day requirements? Also do we need to test again before leaving ship and before our flight home on September 22? Any help will be appreciated.
  19. I agree with other posts Hampton Inn Brickell. We’ve stay d there twice and next time we cruise out of Miami we would stay there again. Close to transportation and a Publix market and several restaurants close by.
  20. Abby I feel the way you do about Kale, it’s best decorating the produce at the grocery store. I also remember when Cilantro wasn’t on anything. I'm really enjoying your daily updates. We will be on the Eclipse in September, our first cruise since May 2019 also Alaska on the Eclipse.
  21. Thank you to the people who read my post correctly, that it was one of last cruises to sail out of Venice. The cruise was in September 2018.
  22. I sometimes google the exact name of the excursion and usually the tour companies that offer that tour will come up and you can get more details. Most of the time these companies will only let you book thru cruise line but they do offer a little more detail.
  23. We too were worried about sailing on Constellation but the itinerary was just too good. It was one of the last cruise ships to go out of Venice. We were pleasantly surprised and had no complaints. We have her booked for 2023 and 2024 Caribbean cruises and May 2023 Mediterranean . Personally we are happy she hasn’t been revolutionized, I don’t like what I see in the ships that have. They look cold and sparse.
  24. These seem to be very similar trips . I would like to know which one might be the better choice if anyone has taken one or both of these.
