  1. Ha. Yes, a T under the dress shirt, and socks too. Will leave boxers or briefs to your imagination though.
  2. My Alaskan cruise is in June. I'm planning on bringing a navy blue sports jacket, dress shirt, tie ( which I may not wear) , dark pants and a pair of black dress shoes. On the casual nights I'm thinking dark jeans and a flannel shirt but I'll decide when I get on board. I've seen videos on YouTube of Alaskan cruise formal nights and there was pretty much every type of dress, but nobody who looked like they just came in from cutting the grass.
  3. From what I read, the terms and conditions of how these cards are able to be used is not the same across every cruise line that offers them. Best to be sure to read the restrictions first when buying these cards, especially for a different cruise line like Carnival, Celebrity or Royal Caribbean.
  4. I've been on several excursions where the guides were uncomfortable accepting tips. Usually say to them "I really enjoyed the tour. Please have your next cup of tea/coffee/espresso on me or donate this to your favorite charity. " They always smile and accept the tip.
  5. I have read through this thread fascinated by the passion and logic of those contributing. Honestly, I find good arguments on both sides. I think the only one to be annoyed with is Princess itself. There is no need for this disagreement, because there is a simple solution. Princess should offer some cruises with the same itinerary with formal nights and some without upfront. That way everyone knows what they are signing up for. On cruises with formal nights it should be enforced, no exceptions.
  6. Same reason why the cruise lines charge more for alcoholic packages then for non-alcoholic packages. If I'm paying extra for alcohol, I have expectations based on my past experiences.
  7. On several occasions post covid I and others I know have been to resorts that included alcoholic drinks. We all agree that we drank much more than at home with no effect from it (including no hangover thankfully). For those who have been on a princess cruise recently, have you experienced something similar?
  8. Are there time limits for using treadmills on Princess or any other restrictions when using the equipment?
