Carnival Plc refund cheque bounced!
Tillylovesseabourn replied to Tillylovesseabourn's topic in Cunard Line
Thanks all for your replies, letter from bank today says drawers signature not present. Upon further inspection of the cheque it is on there but very lightly printed. I suspect that is why. Will call. -
I received a refund cheque with regard to my on board account on Saturday. This was pertaining to a cruise in August this year, and i paid the cheque in online only to receive a note on Tuesday that it has been returned! I think waiting until late October for an August refund is bad enough, but then for the cheque to bounce!!! Could anyone point me in the right direction as to how I may get another cheque issued? Many thanks.

Always fond Stugeron 15 work brilliantly, never feel drowsy on them.

After having returned two weeks ago from a short cruise on QV where I found myself in credit on my final bill, I am yet to receive this on my credit card. I was incorrectly charged for auto tips after asking for them to be removed, twice, and in the meantime i paid my bill in cash. Leaving a credit of around $150. I was told by the pursers office this would go on to my card, but it hasnt yet. Does anyone have experience of this, or know who I should contact to get said credit. Many thanks.

Tips on how to survive the “new”Seabourn
Tillylovesseabourn replied to Love Sea Days's topic in Seabourn Cruise Line
I will bet the Scots were Silverseas passengers. I remember listening to two Australians moaning constantly and saying SS was fabulous and that SB was only “ business clarrrss dahhling”. They kept us entertained nevertheless, and we were grateful they were never coming back on SB! -
Anyone used a "proof of recovery letter" with Cunard.
Tillylovesseabourn replied to lissie's topic in Cunard Line
With the current strains of covid, you can get covid over and over again. So whilst you might of had it, you could catch it again. Why would Cunard want to run the risk of allowing covid positive people on board. Seems common sense that you still need a negative result to board. -
Thanks, Ah, i have an ipad, so was hoping i could use that and print off certificate?

LL, not the best on a computer, is it just a case of uploading a pic or is there more to it? Thanks
-
Thanks Lanky Lad, pleased to hear the photo test is acceptable for Cunard.
-
LL please let us know who you successfully used. Many thanks.

Thanks Hattie, the only slots available at lloyds were at 11.30am the day before. If they arrive in the afternoon the day after will that be classed as more than a day old? Thanks

I have two fanily members sailing from Southampton to fjords quite soon. Both UK citizens, do they do their own LFT’s at home and register them online with govt website, or do they have to go to a physical location for a test prior to boarding? Thanks.

CPS booked,thanks everyone for input.

I would add, we have always found that a Q1/2/3 are understandably allocated the prime tables. As i think it should be. So I would imagine if you are in a Q5-7 for example you should not expect the finest table in the house. Having no experience of anything other than Q1/2 or 3 I cannot confirm this, however other folks in the same suites as us were seated nearby.

Brilliant, thanks. So if we do lateral flows the day before we can board straight away? No tests at port now? Thanks

Cruising from Southampton for the first time. Could anyone tell me please, which is the closest parking to the ship? Not concerned about price, just need to be as close as possible for aged parent to board ship. Also what is currently the procedure when driving to port re testing and priority boarding QG? many thanks

Covepoint, that seems very strange. Normally people are turned away from the dining room or offered a jacket on formal night. Very different to every SB cruise I have been on even in the last year. Maybe you went to the Caribbean which tends to be more casual? Maybe you are thinking about more casual evenings than formal? Generally, i see most in shirts and trousers for casual nights.

Covepoint, In my 20+ years of sailing Seabourn, I can honestly say that the majority of SB cruisers really make an effort for dinner anyway. I doubt Swankpooch will find any real difference in sartorial style. Only that there are generally more dark suits ties on SB on formal nights rather than tuxes in QG.
