We used to cruise regularly, but now my husband is getting much more forgetful. My son asked us to go on a 4 day Bahamas cruise and I am not sure. He does' wander, but in case we get separated on the ship does anyone have any suggestions. I am not sure if we should go. He loves cruising and he is so happy being out and interacting with other people, I am torn.
My husband had dementia when we went on a seven day cruise with family and friends and he did wander if we got separated. May I suggest you stay with your husband as much as possible and maybe have your son look after him too. My husband's brother always went with him to the Men's Room and that worked out well. Go and enjoy as much as you can and remember it's going to make him happy since he loves to cruise, so did my husband.

We're going on a first time TA cruise ending in Barcelona and want to stay there three nights. Does anyone know where to begin to find hotels in Barcelona? Any advice would be appreciated.

Anyone who is cruising with Princess or Holland America can reserve bus transportation with your travel agent. I couldn't find any info on Princess website about this and then discovered that it is in their search engine as 'coach transportation' instead of 'bus'!!! I spoke to a Princess rep and she confirmed this. They have their own bus to Port.

Try the Sleep Inn in Dania
I'm sorry but I made a mistake and should have said Orlando Airport instead of Fll. I really need this cruise SOON!

We have an 8 am flight to go to ny for carnival cruise in Sept. and were thinking of staying the day before at a FLL hotel with airport shuttle. Anyone know of any reasonable hotels near airport? A friend is driving us, so we won't need parking, just shuttle.

I remember a few years ago that we went on Freedom of the Seas and there was a Dining Room open until 1 pm on embarkation day. Does anyone know if there is a dining room open for lunch instead of going to Windjammer?
