  1. Just to update, I got in touch with SAS. They have drivers at POM starting at 6, but said most passengers don't start coming off ships till 7am. Still enough time for a 11:40 flight I would think. Especially carrying off bags and having TSA precheck. Well hopefully.

  2. I know I could call again later when there is an answer, but figured I could also ask here. Anyone know the earliest pickup time from POM that SAS will do to get back to FLL? Have a 11:40 flight on SW out of FLL. We plan to carry off our own bags. Thanks.

  3. I called the Access dept using the phone# above and they took care of my request for large print compasses ....said they would be in my room but if forgotten, go to Guest Services on ship. Also, said I would need to see Guest Services on ship for close seating in the theater. So.... I will do that! Nice service.

And I appreciate all the good info above.

While I don't think they'd have an issue giving out the large print compasses, I wonder if they'd ask for proof of blindness for specialty seating, etc. While I think they wouldn't, I'd probably bring my son's certificate. Any other "benefits" he would get besides lp compasses and seating accommodations. Just want to ensure if he wants something that I can arrange it for him. Thanks.

  4. That’s interesting to know. We have a GS booked on Adventure in 2019 and I wasn’t aware of that.

Something else to look forward to.

It wasn't on the letter they give you in a leather binder in your room. It was on a separate paper (like the invitation you'd get for a past guest party). Can't say they offer it every sailing or not, but they did for the Suites on ours last June.

  5. Windjammer $20 BOGO deal for days 1&2 only.

    Hahahaha. That's precious!

But seriously, there will definitely be something no other ship has. They always do that with a new class and then trickle that change back down the line. But with all these new updates recently, you can sure it will be something new to increase the revenue stream....new pay restaurant or attraction for sure.

  6. No one on Adventure is going to St. Lucia for months. And Royal will continue to mislead and obfuscate the issue because they know how popular St. Lucia is and how unpopular Martinique is with many cruisers.

Agree. The dredging in St Lucia is scheduled to take till November. Not sure why they keep trying and don't just make the change to all future itineraries for the foreseeable future. Suspect it's much cheaper to go into St Lucia so if they skip it for another island, they likely take a loss.

  7. I never updated this thread, but did get a responses to my multiple inquiries on Monday of this week. They were all the exact same response cut and paste. Said he has no internet, but to respond to the email and he'll reply with a confirmation. Doesn't seem the best way to do business, but I'm sure he is a decent operator. We have just moved on to another option at this point.

  8. I agree with the sentiments about rebooking out of need or due to the fact that an itinerary isn't out yet. We normally book a JS onboard with the last itinerary available to move to the new itinerary once they are released. Gives us the 100 deposit and 100 OBC (since they eliminated the Next Cruise cert in any good capacity). Now if we do this, we are locked into a cruise we don't want. Guess we'll be booking the day they come out and forgoing the onboard booking.
