I enjoy chatting with fellow cruisers, would love to share experiences with others over 55. This section of the board is just pretty dead. DH & I are both over 55 & looking forward to a relaxing as well as exciting cruise aboard the Dream in Nov, 2012.

The dream is a great ship /4 times .Check out deck 5 it is a great place to lay out side..

I appreciate those with insight into this experience answering my question. I will read the reviews from those who travel on the AQ this spring and summer and then decide if this is the experience for us. We would really like to try this so part of me says, "damn the cost, full speed ahead." But I do want to be convinced that the experience is worth the higher cost.

Most of the shows are 7pm and 9pm. The Welcome Board show is 7pm only. The ice shows are at scattered times throughout the week. There are a few late night shows like the adult comedy show and Quest.

 

On the first formal night, the show times tend to be shifted to accommodate the Captain's Reception. During our sailing, the show times were 9pm and 10:45pm.
