Excellent @turnip eater! We just tried sitting on our deck and is too cold! Drive safely.
Thank you…We’re being driven. Difficult typing when on the move. For some reason the sat nat has got an Aussie accent.

For info, my GHDs [both wide and narrow plates] worked just fine on all three Cunard ships.
Good! Mine are GHD narrow plates! Quite a dinky size.😊
Thank you!

Oh! No! I’m leaving my Dyson hairdryer at home, but I’ve packed my Ceramic hair straighteners (this year’s Christmas pressie). Doomed.😊😊😊😊.
just as well I’ve made appointments at the hair salon on board.

We’re all packed, Covid test Negative, waiting for taxi to take us to our Southampton Hotel before boarding QM2 for the Christmas and New Year cruise tomorrow. Don’t want to chance getting delayed tomorrow by bad weather etc.Weather not bad today, so hoping for a clear run.
……..so excited. 😊😊

Yes, I fully agree and was only trying to offer specific advice as I was very disappointed when I took my sparkling new bells and whistles (Christmas prezzie) Dyson hairdryer on board and it didn’t work. 😟
-
Just to add….Dyson hairdryers don’t work on board….too powerful?. 💨💨

It’s definitely $70 now. 😟

No it is $70 now, but I don’t think it was that last week. Perhaps it went up on December 1st.🙄

Use the eGates for quicker entry
There are over 270 eGates in place at 15 air and rail ports in the UK to enable quicker travel into the UK.
You can normally use eGates if you:
- have a biometric symbol on the cover of your passport
- are aged 12+ (12 to 17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult)
-
are either:
- a British citizen
- a national of an EU country, AustraliaCanada, Iceland, Japan, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland or the USA
- a member of the Registered Traveller Service
Those travelling with ID cards cannot use the eGates.
Pity that it’s not reciprocated in New York ☹️

Looks like the flight was an hour late departing. When you are a worried flyer you just want to get it over with. I’m sure the Cabin Crew will be looking after him.🍾

Aer Lingus via Dublin. Should be able to go through US checks in Dublin.

Hmmmm.Disappointing, Have you contacted them? My sister in law’s cruise was not included, but they allowed her on a coach that was travelling to Southampton and dropped her off at her cruise terminal. On return she had to get herself (taxi) to the cruise terminal the coach was returning from.
Of course it would mean Cunard, P & O or Princess having a cruise departing on the same day as Celebrity.
Just a thought. 🤔

Have you checked Intercruises? They may provide a service. 🤔

Hurray😀😀😀😀
