  1. Charging for popcorn to me is absolutely unbelievable. Just looks tasteless and greedy. When we sailed on the Allure 4 years ago or so it was definitely included when they were showing movies or other entertainment outdoors. I dont like popcorn and wouldn't eat it anyway but that's a huge turn off they would charge for 5 cent popcorn

.....they may charge for popcorn just to "control" it's dispersion.....meaning when something is free it is usually abused and I can't imagine anything worse for the crew than trying to sweep up popcorn all over the ship. The crew has enough to do as it is.

  2. How about harmony has the ability to make fresh drinking water out of salt water but they do not do it because the ship carries enough shoreside water to meet needs. Do you know what the bulb on the bow is used for?

............I thought it was that giant garden water hose that is dragged behind the vessel from port to port. If you look closely there is a gigantic hose reel at the original home port of each ship that unreels as the ship sails. It is often disguised as a large building. Don't be fooled.......;)

  3. My point is they were in international waters...at sea...when the cabin attendant found their dangerous contraband, but were delivered the following day to a foreign country in which they committed no crime. I understand foreign countries have different laws. I understand they were stupid for bringing a small amount of a pot with them on a weekend cruise. What I don't understand is why Royal had to go the route they did...rather than escort them off the ship and send them on their way, they chose to call in police from a country that had no interest and no gripe with them.

........maybe to set a precident for future cruisers.....no means NO!.....As the saying goes "If you can't do the time than don't do the crime". Maybe the arresting police can give them some puppies and a safe space......:D:D:D

  4. So after reading all these stories, I actually think the one about domestic abuse rings most true to what I have seen/heard. On a couple of occasions we heard loud arguing and saw them opening the door and recording stuff too.

    very sad...:(

............maybe one of them was "bogarting" the joint. Nothing worse than a selfish spouse man.......bummer.......
