I managed to book through another web site for Sept $129 includes free parking for 7 nights; transportation to the pier;  then I called them to book another night directly through them..

i have been googling on hotwire.....  usually the will show you three hotels.   One of them you will get.

The Catalina Beach Resort is a great value.  Temperpedic beds, black out curtains, free happy hour, rooftop pool, etc.

 

I've gotten it as cheap at $50 in summer and $100 in peak season off hotwire.

 

It's across the street from the beach but includes beach chairs in the resort fee.  FWIW,  all Miami beach hotels will charge a resort fee.

Thank you for advising Hotwire...   been googling it   They do give you an idea of what hotel you may get.

Brand new property or not, that location--across NW 36th St from the airport in the city of Miami Springs---is a massive, massive, massive drop-off from staying in the Brickell neighborhood near Downtown and the port. Only reason to stay there is if arriving very late in the evening with no plans other than to barricade yourself in the room and go to sleep. Yes I mean barricade, you do not want to be walking around that area after dark.

 

(The hotel's website says they will open October 15, 2019 btw)

• I just booked at the Comfort Inn airport Miami;  it doesn't open up till Sept 2019 so I am assuming it is a new place;

can park cars $12.00 per day; free transportation to pier;  

Paid $142 with AAA.. klng size suite...

We are cruising out of Miami on the Horizion;  hotels are $$ in Feb.

Did find the "Redroof Inn" with parking for $139.00  transportation to the pier only.

My question is I know you get what you pay for...  but again I don't want to pay $300 

a night either

Palm Beach is so much fun. A public bus for $5.00 r/t Bus station is a very short distance from the pier..

Did the tube ride for $20 and it was about an hr..

First I hope this young child gets all the medical help he shall need especially as he gets older.... he will need it too.

Yes, if RCCL was smart they would settled out of court. As I mention hopefully his parents will set a side all of the money for

"him" and not for themselves..

this way you can do your hair while others take theirs.

Like most people stated bring your own dryer. The ones on the ships are horrible even in the suites.

Get a professional done prior to going.

I be sort of afraid..

we did a cruise out of Orlando a very early flight 8ish.. am arriving in San Juan around 11am

well they first delay the trip by 30minutes... after a few times we knew this flight was going to be canceled.

Yes they canceled it with no flights till the next day... very scary.. a good portion of this flight was cruising as well.

(this was the first time this happen to us... we cruised several times out of San Juan)

This was not weather related either.. looked up the weather from where the plane was coming from and etc.

We were offer a different flight ... different airport but they misinformed us the time to get there.

After taking a taxi.. yes $500.00 (did fight to get it back and we did) made that flight with minutes to spare..

this flight was half empty and maybe they should of bused the cruisers there...

We too are going on a cruise first week of Dec JOS and thinking about flying the night before even though our flight is to leave at 8ish again and getting there around 11am..

Hope all works out well..
