Is it possible to walk from the port to Pile's Gate? It looks about less than 3 miles?

I have an afternoon to spend on either of these 2. I know that Tivoli is an hour away, but the gardens and fountains look spectacular. If anyone has gone to both, which would you see? I have done research on both, but would love to hear from the CC readers!

Has anyone taken this tour through Princess? It packs in both items on my bucket list, but I don't know if it will be rushed. This is our first time in Florence and doing both will knock out getting to see the architecture. I don't know if I need to waste 1.5 hours at lunch, unless it is totally fabulous.

Has anyone chose to fly from Rome to Venice instead of taking the train? Does it cut down the time?

I have done a bunch of research about tour companies that will take you from Messina to Taormina, but the avg time in Taormina is about 2 hours. I was hoping to stay longer. Are there any taxis or private tour companies at the port that take passengers there?

Have you thought that the Enclave was clean? When we did it there weren't enough hooks for your robes and people were putting them and used wash cloths all over the floor.

2. Are the rooms ready when you embark so we can drop off our overnight bag before heading up for lunch or do you have to wait until 1 pm to access your room like on RCCL?

Thank you both for your quick reply. We are Elite on Princess and wanted to try Celebrity. It's weird, bur exciting to be a "newbie" again!

Do I sign for the drinks? Is the bar gratuities included or should I expect a tip cost for each drink on my folio?

We will be sailing on our first celebrity cruise in November. How does the bartender know that I have the Premium Drink Package? Is it on a sticker on our cruise card? Is it on the card during embarkation or do I have to go somewhere to get it and show my perks on my copy of the cruise contract? Thanks for any info!

This is our first Celebrity cruise in Nov. We, too, have received the Premium Drink Package. My question is: How is this signified on your cruise card? On princess, you would get a sticker. How does Celebrity do this? I am assuming that the bar tips are included with the drink package. Is this correct?

I have the chance to move from E108 to E130. I understand that E108 has an obstructed railing, but a huge balcony. Can you see over the balcony when you are sitting in the chairs? Is there noise from the theater in either room? Thank you for any input for helping me decide which room to take!

I have this cabin on hold until tomorrow. Was the room smaller? Did it get noise from the theatre? Any info would be appreciated?

I probably should call Princess directly and ask. I hope I can get an answer before I book. I tried to look at each cabin and put in for 3 or 4 people. I thought the ones for 4 would come down from the ceiling, but now I'm unsure!

Has anyone stayed in an inside cabin, either horizontal or vertical, that accommodated 3 or 4 people? Do the extra berths come down from the ceiling or are they attached to the wall? I have sailed with the extra berth on the wall and it gets in the way. Hope someone can help, Need to book soon!

I have looked at my Princess Credit Card Rewards Points page and hope someone can answer me before I have to call the credit card company.

We have a ribbon next to one of our cruises that says "TOP PICK" What does that mean? The cruise cost is less than another cruise on our "Available To Use" for credit list.

Also, trying to nail down the math they use to redeem points without selecting the "Redeem Points" button.

If I have a cruise that costs $5000, an I correct in using the following equation to determine the number of redeemable points:

$5000/0.02= 250,000 points

and if I can add all of my "Available to Use Credits" in one batch, it would add up to $7000, then I would use $7000/0.02=350,000 points.

If I use that "TOP PICK" which was $2230, but I spent over $4000 over the past 120 days, I assume that I use $2230/0.02= 111,500 points. Or do I have to use a loker %?

Can anyone help me with this? I am just trying to get the most out of my points with the credit card changes!
