I would also add Emerald coupon books - No more coupon books.
You must ask if you have a freebie or discount.
There is a list of your discounts buried among all the papers on embarkation day...But I am sure many guests miss that info...And never take advantage...More savings/cost cutting for that tricky cruise line...
It seems that there must be a crew committee who's job is to make everything inconvenient for the guest in order to save that tricky line cruise money.[/QUOT
 Sorry but nothing thus far do I see would interfere with my cruise or would I consider cost cutting. Napkins with logo??? Really? Saving on paper for the coupon book made sense to me... I have 25+ books if you'd like some? Now taking away the charge for pool towels was poor decision to me! Not many return towels, now for sure can never find open deck chair! Check out pool area just after 5:30 pm and see how lazy people can be...

Thanks for the latest updates.....
Hoping someone can take over this list.I find myself on here less and less and would hate for it not to be updated..
Any volunteers??
Thanks and Happy New Year!
Me too..

I have done both once or twice.. Freedom is great for a younger crowd which I consider myself still. It's always active. Great for family cruising.. Radiance I find is a little more laid back, slightly older crowd. But can still raise some hell if called upon. my 2 cents...:)

My favorite is always the next one.!!! Try a Wing Island... long island minus the coke and splash with red bull instead...

And...RECORD YOUR SHOWS AT HOME. There is never a guarantee that any sporting event will be shown, unless, of course, it's soccer!
lol so true.....:)

Off topic. Just had a baby shark swimming near my feet last week in Coco Cay.
Guessing you were near where they park the wave runners? My wife was also there when the 2 reef sharks were trolling the shallows...

Just brought SOS from Spain to NO.. You for sure need to make contact with the powers that be to see your game. They only showed football on Turkey day. Skipped all the other games for 15 days. They did play soccer games over and over though.

You're welcome.......but I'm just the list keeper........I count on all of YOU for input.:D

The adult drink Pkg is rumored to increase to $65 per person per day after Nov 15th. Will include water and Red bull now. As some one mentioned, many do not partake enough per day to justify pkg price even at old pricing. When I did the math is about 9 cocktails a day or 18 per couple. If you have a port intensive sailing you have a lot of catching up to do once on board to get to your 18.. Just my 1/2 cent... It use to be 2 but Gov gets 1 1/2 now!:)

No excuse for it... Sounds like RC has an issue with their online ordering process. Here's another thread about same issue... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1939717 If anyone does contact them inform them please. I know it will work out for op.

The drink pkg has not gone over well for the bar staff. I have spoken with many on past cruises and also via FB. Tips in cash is best for them. Most will divide between other bar tenders and servers at bar they work for that day. Tips that are added to bill is divided amongst all bar staff working the day.

last years repo, Boston to Tampa on Jewel they tested this due to high volume of d+ and pins on board. Was open from 5-8 at most bars. No limit!:) D's still had their free wine in the viking crown lounge and discounted beer.
-
Cruise history speaks for itself! Jewel is one of the best in the fleet IMHO!:)

I am really enjoying this thread. The last thread I saw similar to this, most posters gave the link to their photos. I am enjoying seeing the actual photos within the thread so much better. Thanks, OP for starting this, and thanks to all who have taken the time to post their photos within the post.
I couldn't agree more... :) keep them coming!

Capt. Dan and Hope were wonderful to deal with, weren't they, Rockford? We went with them as well last August - first the whale watch with tons of bubblenet feeding and breaching, then I went on a bear search with them afterwards, again with great results.
Would say one of the best excursions we've ever done!....

RockfordCruiser....looking at your great pictures and was wondering what company you were using to Whale watch and were you with a few people or alot of people? I like the boat we are looking at FROM your boat. Is it similar and only 8 or so people on board? What company?
We had 6 0n board... With Capt Dan out of Hoonah. Misty bay lodge... Highly recommend
