Please may I join the amazingly long list of people requesting a set of your notes on Herculaneum Cruisemom. We will be there in early May. Have visited Pompeii which was amazing and would now like to visit Herculaneum. kenatocc@gmail.com

I have seen reference to a bus that you can also get to Herculaneum rather than the train. Does anyone know anything about it?

Two hours for Pompeii is not much. When we visited we spent at least 4 hours and I am not sure we saw everything. From what I have heard, if you only want to spend 2 hrs go to Herculaneum. It is smaller and closer but will give you the same sort of sights as Pompeii. In fact I believe the buildings are better preserved. Just an idea and you will have plenty of time for your pizza.
