  1. Now our question will be what do do once we are there!?!
  2. They will love it! There is so much for them to do, they and you will never be bored and we especially loved all of the food choices. We ate in the main dining room 1x over the 2-weeks because we found so many other places to eat. This was our 1st cruise without our kids. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary, and they are 23, 19, & 19. They were all busy so they said go without us- didn’t have to tell us twice!
  3. That’s amazing! When we retire (in many years) we will be able to do multiple cruises in a year, and we can’t wait! We loved, loved, loved the Mardi Gras!
  4. Awesome! It is a small world! We had the best time on the Mardi Gras and can’t wait for next summer.
  5. Thanks everyone! We are going to be flying again and not having to deal with renting a car to get from Orlando is something else that I didn’t think about and will be nice. We have a hold on the Celebration now, and I think we will be putting that deposit down! It’s very exciting and a bit intimidating to be going to new places. I guess that might have been part of our hold up with going on the Southern- we know the other ports so we know what to do when we get there. But… we have a year to research 3 new places and get advice on fun excursions to try!
  6. DH and I just got back from an AMAZING b2b on the Mardi Gras. We are now looking to book a cruise for next summer. Since we are teachers, we are restricted on when we can go. We narrowed down our choices to 2 cruises- 8 day southern on the Celebration- stopping at Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao 8 day eastern on the Mardi Gras- stopping at San Juan, St Martin, Amber Cove, Grand Turk We have never done a southern cruise before and have been to 3 out of the 4 ports on the eastern cruise. The price for both is almost the same- the Celebration was about $250 less than the Mardi Gras- both balcony cabins. Thanks for any input/advice!
  7. On our last cruise ( several years ago) we had a “just married” couple next door to us with their entire entourage. Every night there was a party in their cabin that spilled out into the hall and balcony. The room was stuffed! It was so loud- they treated it like another club on the ship. I get they were just married and celebrating, but there are plenty of clubs and places to do it I’m the ship. We are not old, grumpy people; however, I do like to go back to my cabin to relax and actually sleep. I also like to sit on my balcony to relax and not hear a club next door and smell smoke. We did call security at one point (and evidently we were not the only ones who did so.)They cleared out of their room and went to the club after much complaining how it was “their honeymoon” - it didn’t last though… they were back at it partying it up in their cabin the next day. We also saw their entire group trying to jump the line getting back onto the ship at one of the ports. I just don’t get why people feel like they are so entitled?
  8. All good points… I think we either need to do one at a time or in separate rooms. If we are too close, it might be confusing if the proctor could hear the other person.
  9. I tried to look for the answer… sorry if it’s out there! We are testing next week for our upcoming cruise. Can my husband and I set up on 2 computers side by side and test at the same time or would it be better to test one after the other? We watched a video of some one taking the proctored test and it seems fairly straight forward. I just didn’t want any confusion with 2 people testing at once. My husband did say he could put in his AirPods while testing if that would help. Thanks!
  10. Excellent! I saw it was your turn around day and was hoping I could (maybe) get it included if you hadn’t already finished! 😁
  11. Thanks again so much for your great review! Would you mind telling those of us who are going on a b2b what you had to do? Where did they make you go and wait? Was there anything special or any procedures you needed to follow? Thanks!
  12. Omg! That’s so exciting! We can not wait. Now we just have to make it past the Covid testing hurdle, and then we can finally relax!
  13. Love reading your review! Can’t wait until June 25th for our 1st b2b and our 1st time on the MG!
  14. Can’t wait to read more. DH and I are going on a B2B in June!
  15. Is it ok to bring premier protein shakes on board? I like to add this to my coffee instead of milk/creamer. I could pack either cartons or plastic bottles. What would be the limit? I am going on a b2b (Would they allow enough for both cruises?) Thanks!
