  1. Just curious… When people eat this late at night what time do they go to sleep after having a heavy meal? I could do that, but the people that I usually cruise with would not do that.
  2. If the beef tenderloin and salmon are still on the Embarkation lunch menu they are both very good, imo. Enjoy your cruise.
  3. It may sound silly to some, but this makes me really happy so thank you for sharing this. I love breakfast for dinner. I can see me ordering this (minus the dairy) several times.
  4. That’s awful that that happened to you. It’s terrible having a food allergy, isn’t it? I wonder what will happen when someone dies from a food allergy because they did not call in and speak to someone on the phone due to the $5.00 charge? But that’s OK… They’ll make sure you’re safe if you purchase a package. @CanadianBurger sorry to interrupt your thread.
  5. They said that I would not be charged if I had the package. I really am shocked that they would charge someone for wanting to discuss food allergies when they don’t even follow the information that is given on their own app.
  6. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this information with me. I enter my info in the app, I send emails to the dietary department before my cruise, and I also talk to the dining room manager once onboard. I feel safe with the chef in the buffet that walks around the line with me, and also with the MDR manager but not with Room Service. Even after everything I do Room Service delivered my order with cheese in it. After that happened I was told to always call Room Service with my orders and to talk to a supervisor when ordering. If anyone needs this info… I asked about the new $5.00 charge to call Room Service on the phone if you do not have a package. I received a call from the customer service department and I was told that I would be charged to talk to them even with food allergies. SMH.
  7. Maybe? I was looking at past Patters for Alaska in May and the outside grill was open until 11:00 pm. I’m surprised that those venues on the Sun Princess close at dinner time.
  8. @CanadianBurger Thank you for taking the time to do this awesome review. This is exactly what I was waiting for!
  9. Why would they close the Promenade food locations at 6 PM? A bit early… Am I missing something?
  10. I also have food allergies so this is really good to know. I’m allergic to dairy so sometimes there is nothing for me in the venues outside of the MDR.
  11. Aww, did she leave the bathroom drawer for your clothes? She is sooo sweet! Please tell her that I love her dress. 😊
  12. The Discovery Princess did not have non-smoking nights on our cruises. I remember when Princess used to do that. Do any of the other ships have non-smoking nights?
  13. Send an email listing… *Sail date *Ship name *Passenger name *Cabin number *Food allergies/restrictions
  14. Maybe I’ve missed it but I haven’t read any posts about the OceanNow delivery. Is that working?
  15. Send an email to the dietary department asap. Let me know if you need the email address.
  16. I also can’t imagine who would want to pay so that’s why I was asking. Just curious how it’s working out for them.
  17. Has anyone on the Sun Princess noticed if passengers are booking and using the Sanctuary?
  18. Thank you! Sometimes breakfast for dinner is perfect.
  19. I saw that the American Diner has bacon and eggs on the menu. Do you know if that is available at dinner time? I would love that.
  20. Is it possible that they weren’t finished with the Sanctuary and just stuck a lot of chairs there until they have the area completed? I hope so because if not, this is just horrible. Why would anyone pay for that?
  21. I won’t book if there isn’t any shade. I wonder why they didn’t think of that? Sad.
  22. Thank you. I would be disappointed with the Arena not being ready.
