Still no revenue run for Quantum from Brisbane to Alaska season 2025.

Yorkeys Knob Boating Club doesn’t appear to be affected with the exception of a few generator incidents. Bingo is on this morning plus they are also a flood help centre giving out food supplies to those who need help. This club is where the tenders depart from on cruise days.

I have had. to get from Orlando twice to Fort Lauderdale and have hired a car both times. It is a boring drive. I would have definitely used the train at least once being a rail buff for the journey if it was opened.

I am reading elsewhere. Yesterday a blitz happened on Carnival Splendor boarding in Sydney for the right travel insurance for the South Pacific, (Just a Heads Up)

The Kuranda Scenic Railways appears it will be out of action for probably a couple of months. Heaps of. damage and the rail line still has water over it in places.

With the massive flooding happening in Cairns ATM I assume cruises to Cairns will be effected for a while. Yorkeys Knob is one of the worst areas. . For those in the Cairns Tablelands area please stay safe and best wishes.

Does anyone know what the incident was involving a Cruise Ship in Auckland the other night when Edge and another cruise ship were in town. Auckland Transport claimed ferries were delayed because of a cruise ship incident.

Chilli this is probably the reason why the Trans Pacifics are not going on sale. Spectrum in China being axed completely or a much smaller window in Shanghai. Part of the plan probably is to swap the Quantum Class ships around.

This is the Quantum of the Seas deck plan. Interestingly nothing changes for the November 2024 dry dock. A few weeks ago Royal made a Port Booking in Hong Kong 23 October 2014 for the run that should be non revenue Hawaii to Singapore. So is the dry dock now after Brisbane 24/25 season now?

Interesting to see the deployment for something going on sale up to October 2026 is still shown after the update!

It will be interesting to see if those Trans Pacific’s go on sale before February. Quantum and Anthem April 2025.

The Brisbane Port bookings for Voyager are all 8 days and under. A lot more cruises under 7 days if the Port of Brisbane website is right. Including more 3 and 4 nighters. More like a P&O schedule. Looks like Royal are cutting down in the South Pacific like the other cruise lines.

One of the Next Cruises are saying Ovation will be in China mid 2025.

No Chilli I i will be in Brisbane working. I would be cheesed off I wasn’t going to Hobart if I was onboard.

The Captain Corner on Quantum was told tomorrow’s 6 night North QLD cruise is going to Sydney not Airlie,Willis Is and Yorkeys. They are waiting final word from Miami.

I will continue to book Guaranteed Cabins. My partner rang P&O to book a surprise Mini Suite and was told we would have a bath plus a queen bed. When we opened the door it was a disabled cabin with no bath and 2 permanent single beds with a walkway thru them. We went to Guest Services and was shifted to another cabin no problems. We were told the guaranteed booking conditions.

Chilli I have been looking into port bookings to find Ovation and Navigator and I can’t find anything. The only Trans Pacific on sale to Alaska 2025 is Ovation. Quantum and Anthem TPs not on sale yet! I have thought that Voyager bookings 25/26 could be Navigator but I can’t find anything to prove it. One Quantum ship would be in Singapore. But where does the Quantum other one go?

Ovation has to be in Singapore or Cadiz around March 2026 for ten year dry dock. The most likely thing I can see is Quantum working the Ovation Trans Pacific April 20;25. Asia or Europe Chilli Mid 2025.
