  1. It’s just been reported on another thread by laurieb that corkage is now $15.
  2. Sorry, my mistake, it was actually £170pp. I got it right in the spreadsheet, but wrong in my post. Many apologies.
  3. If you look at the bottom of the full tour description you should see the clickable wording in blue saying ‘SHOW TERMS AND CONDITIONS+’ - here’s a screen print showing where it is.
  4. Yes, we had a stop at Buzios a couple of years ago as a substitute port. We loved it, it’s very lively. It’s easy to walk around, but there’s also a nice little tour you can do on a sort of open air tour bus/lorry. You don’t need to book beforehand, the booking office is just at the end of the pier. You book & pay there and they tell you where and when to turn up to take your tour. Can’t remember how much it was, but I’m sure it was pretty cheap. If you have family that like Haviana sandals, there’s a great Haviana shoe shop there, very much cheaper than in the UK.
  5. Not true in my experience. My travel agent gets through first thing in the morning, & I got through quite quickly.
  6. They should be able to make most drinks using the complimentary spirits, unless it uses one not included E.g. brandy. If you want a drink that can’t be made using complimentary spirits, then you would pay the full price.
  7. As upgrade offers are being made again, I decided to resurrect the upgrade spreadsheet & have added the information in the last couple of posts. Also realised I didn’t post the full information in my post, so here goes. Cruise is 29 October Athens to Dubai. We’re Discoverer level. We booked an Oceanview and the upgrade information was minimum Veranda £185pp, Veranda Plus £225pp. We bid £360 for a Verandah. Here’s the spreadsheet link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pEoojQ5-EPmD4cI3gw1dVcYfYTXfZePdDXxU09l0H3M/edit
  8. Can’t agree. We’ve sailed on one mass market cruise line, HAL, and the food on Azamara is much, much better!
  9. Thanks for that Hostjazzbeau, very clear!
  10. I think it depends how you got the Premium package.
  11. It depends on so many things. We spend very little time in our cabin, so we’re not worried. I wouldn’t have said they were any smaller than standard cabins on HAL which is the other line we’ve been on. If you don’t want to pay the extra for a Club Continent Suite which has 50% more space than the standard Inside, Ocean View & Balcony cabins, there are 4 Ocean View cabins that are quite a lot bigger. These are the front two side cabins on Decks 6 & 7 (6004, 6005, 7006, 7007). The cabins next door to them have balconies, but these 4 have that balcony space incorporated inside the cabin.
  12. According to ‘Webstaurantstore.com’, hard cider is alcoholic and apple cider is apple juice in the US.
  13. Yes some, but not a massive stock. Last cruise I used up some OBC buying a DKNY fragrance & my husband bought Obsession after shave
  14. Yes, ours in November in Aqaba is off the ship.
  15. The best one we’ve been to was in Bangkok - taken to the ‘Ancient City’ (park with third size replicas of major Bangkok sites), then little train to middle of the park, nibbles, drinks, then show including 2 sorts of traditional dancing plus a kick boxing display by local teenagers, then fireworks. Finished off being given a floating candle/lamp we were invited to float off down the stream. It was magical.
  16. There are 2 Iceland Cruises in August - 9 August isn’t showing a Destination Celebration, 16 August is. Nothing showing for 1 October cruise.
  17. No it’s a Destination Celebration, so is onboard and there are two performances.
  18. Is this the October 10 Cruise on Onward? If so your Destination Celebration Event is shown in the Shore Excursions brochure as being in Florence on 18 October. It’s called Enchanting Tuscany & is described as follows “ Celebrate your arrival to Florence with the best of Italian opera - a performance by Incanto Quartet accompanied by a pianist.“
  19. I agree, but I can see that there is a risk of infection in a balcony cabin if you have neighbours.
  20. I’m sure you’re right. Our Oct 29 cruise on Quest has an Azamazing Evening in Aqaba in November. It’s a concert at a hotel.
  21. I’ve added the questions and answers about sparkling water & items in your fridge to the spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15Deg-GaeZYLml8NN3PVwoh_jUkQ8QmYUe1wxnVAlODE/edit
