  1. You should be able to. One thing about the Essentials package, do check that this represents good value for you if you are thinking about buying it. It depends on the length of your cruise and whether you would use all the components.
  2. You can ask about the White Night when you get on board.
  3. That’s correct, if you are in suite you can eat in the speciality restaurants at any time at no extra cost.
  4. Apparently the ceiling was in very poor condition, paint flaking off etc. it would have been very difficult and very expensive to repair, I would imagine.
  5. Manchester City started off in top place, not Liverpool. In order for Liverpool to win the title they had to win and Manchester City had to lose.
  6. Try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser.
  7. We don’t tip in the speciality restaurants. In the first place we chose Azamara because they are inclusive. For us the inclusion of drinks and gratuities was important, we hated the fact that on other lines the cruise price was not the actual price because of the addition of a daily amount for gratuities.
  8. Ivi, to get the pictures up separately, once you have added them, just click the first one to insert it. Once it’s inserted scroll to the bottom of it, then put your cursor in at the bottom of the photo and click the return button to move your cursor down a line. Next click on your next photo to insert it, and repeat! Hope this works for you.
  9. Just logged on to my account fine, both thro’ My Account at the top of the page and through ‘My Account Login’ through the bottom menu. A couple of suggestions 1) clear your web history, 2) try a different browser, 3) try Azamara’s website in a different country - US, Australia, UK ( you can change the country via the flag at the very bottom. If none of this works, email Customer Service through Contact Us in the bottom menu, but it may well take a couple of weeks for them to respond. I’d also email Azamara Circle (look in bottom menu to find Azamara Circle contact address.
  10. Depends on the cruise and what you like to do. We like to sunbathe, so loved our transatlantic from Lisbon to Rio. We had lots of sea days and spent many of them on Deck 11 soaking up the sun.
  11. I don’t know, for some ports Azamara arranges visas but not for others. The best thing is to email them. I recently did so regarding visas for Middle East countries. I emailed them both via Customer Services and through Azamara Circle. It took them a couple of weeks or so to reply, but I did eventually get my answer (Azamara organises visas for Egypt, Oman, Jordan & UAE). https://www.azamara.co.uk/email-us
  12. I would agree with Blag, although my daughter just came off a 2 day TA cruise on the Wonder of the Seas at Barcelona. They were booked on a 10:30am flight with the ship due to dock at 7am. In the event the couldn’t get off until 9am & they still made the flight, but they did only have hand luggage & were rushed by RCL by coach from the dockside to the airport, then had to run all the way to the gate after security.
  13. Most is the wonderful service and all the lovely people - crew, officers and passengers. Getting on board each time is just like coming home, which is what they say to you as you board, and re board - ‘Welcome Home’
  14. Just had a lovely day out to Bempton Cliffs on the East Yorkshire coast near Bridlington. It’s well known as a nesting area at this time of year for Puffins, Gannets, Guillemots, Fulmars, Razorbills etc. We did see some Puffins, but only at a distance, but managed to see some of the other birds closer up. Nesting Gannets Thousands of Gannets nesting on this cliff . Guillemots clinging to the rock face.
  15. Requirements of Greek Govt are that they don’t want to see vaccination records or test results but may require passengers to take a test at the airport.
  16. If you look at the entry requirements for Greece (I.e. what the Greek Goverment says), they no longer require to see vaccination certifictea or test results, but they may require passengers to take an antigen test at the airport.
  17. Just tried the link on the UK site & its there, very nearly at the bottom of the page. Here’s the link. https://www.azamara.co.uk/booked-guests
  18. Given the confusion around the different conditions set out by Azamara, according to posters here, I’d be wary of relying on this.
  19. Across Cruise Critic forums, members have been sharing their experiences during these unprecedented times - telling us how life is for them in their locality, so we thought it might be a good idea to set up such a topic within the various cruise line ‘communities’. Please post here to let us all know how things are for you.
  20. I am maintaining this sticky topic and a spreadsheet, for people who are willing to post their upgrade bidding experience to help us all. If you’re happy to do so could you please let us know the following: - bid date - cruise date - cruise length - loyalty level - minimum bid required for upgrade (in US$) - total amount bid (in US$) - cabin type initially booked - cabin type bid for - final bid cost per night (in US$) - bid strength - outcome (successful or not) - cruise region - any other useful information (E.g when told about outcome) Here’s a link to the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pEoojQ5-EPmD4cI3gw1dVcYfYTXfZePdDXxU09l0H3M/edit
  21. [Host Jazzbeau: Since I can't add a post above this first one, I am editing it to add the link to the Tips for Azamara Newbies spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15Deg-GaeZYLml8NN3PVwoh_jUkQ8QmYUe1wxnVAlODE/edit#gid=0 Thanks to @Grandma Cruising for keeping the spreadsheet up to date!] It was suggested that it might be a good idea to have a ‘sticky’ thread which had tips for cruisers new to Azamara, so here goes. White Night - Azamara Cruises normally include a ‘White Night’. This is an on-deck party, with a buffet served from the Patio area. Most people wear white clothing (though this is not required). Speciality Restaurants- good idea to make your bookings as soon as you board. There is sometimes a bookings table in the terminal building and always one inside the entrance to Windows buffet. Dining Packages - the speciality restaurants are $30pp, but you can buy dining packages at a ‘bargain’ price - for example 3 meals for $70pp. Cocktails - the list of included cocktails is only intended as an example of the available cocktails, you can ask for any cocktail to be made with the included spirits. Breakfast drinks - you can ask for a Bloody Mary and/or a Mimosa (Buck’s Fizz) for breakfast and you can have a smoothie made to your own tastes. If you like ginger ask for an ‘Energiser’ at breakfast - it’s a small smoothie which has ginger in it and is (unsurprisingly) very energising! Stateroom fridge - the sodas in the fridge are included, the alcoholic drinks are not. You can ask your stateroom attendant to get you the sodas you like to keep in your fridge. Bringing alcohol on board - you can bring alcohol on board to drink in your stateroom. If you want to drink it in a public room there is a $10 corkage charge. Please add your own tips, so we can get a really good information thread for all those going on their first Azamara cruise. Sent from my iPad using Forums
