Heads up - Dr. Seuss Breakfast opened up for booking on my July 2024 Celebration sailing this morning. Last day breakfast is the only one available - two seatings - 8:30 and 9:45. Snagged a ressie for us! Perhaps others are opened up for booking now! Good luck!

Love reading about your escapades! thanks for sharing your vacation with us all! enjoying every minute and looking forward for our next cruise! -
We use magnetic hooks every time now. Be sure they are rated to hold enough weight, otherwise they are just dead weight in your luggage…lol! hats, lanyards, towels, etc, nicely off the desk and shelves.

Pirate's LIVE Celebration Review...February 26-March 5, 2023
d-train replied to pirate4me2's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Enjoying your live report! Thanks for sharing your vacation with us all! we will be on Celebration next summer, love seeing what’s what! loved our sailings on Mardi Gras, nice to see the slight adjustments they made with this ship to make it unique. -
no alcohol on cheers on day 1 for sure. But we used cheers for non alcoholic drinks day 1. debarkation day I had a spiked coffee too…probably was not technically allowed with Nys rules…
-
I used Cheers at Java Blue on Horizon out of NYC on debark morning. They even gave me bottled/canned drinks to take with me. So YMMV in every case I think.

Our S2S Adventure - Freedom / Spirit (with pics) - 1/7/23
d-train replied to Jamman54's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
As always, another great review! Thanks for sharing your vacation with us! totally agree about no cruise less than 7 days. This past summer we did B2B on Marci Gras, and still did not see or do (or eat, lol!) everything offered. Booked on Celebration for summer 2024, but just an 8 day southern. Looking forward to 3 new ports for sure! Always wanted to go to the A, B, C islands! -
Everything disappeared for me too, right about the same time. I bet they were doing an update, it is all listed again, with a few exceptions…

My first B2B will be live from Mardi Gras, Feb 4 to Feb18
d-train replied to IntrepidFromDC's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Marie Gras was our first B2B too! Loved sailing on her last summer! thanks for sharing your vacation with us, love reliving some of our experiences! Celebration is next for us, can’t wait! -
Funny thing - So I just looked again at reservations for speciality restaurants on Celebration in July 2024 - now everything is missing...LOL! So, I bet, just place holders, and they still have to actually schedule that sailing. It is probably to far into the future...

Questions about upgrade offers
d-train replied to Momto3girlsintheCarolinas's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
We had a couple upgrade offers pre-covid. Got an email with the offer each time. We took one - moved from a cove balcony to a spa balcony for like $112 for three of us. The others, we already had the cabin of our choice and declined. -
there is no drop down, no dates, no option to even see the days or make a reservation. Just a page with the info about the Suess breakfast. Seems like just a place holder for when they have the days and times set to sell.
-
Same for our June 2024 sailing. I bet it is just a place holder at this point. The lunch Tappen Yaki is also sold out - 18 months in advance... Probably just a place holder. Hopefully!

JiJi's and Cucina del Capitano questions
d-train replied to cacruisin's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
our son wanted to order from the regular menu. They refunded the kids rate, and charged the adult rate. -
We will miss the chia seed pudding too. Glad we enjoyed it several times last summer!

Bathroom Sample basket, when did is stop?
d-train replied to EngIceDave's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
We did B2B on MG this past summer and received the basket of fruit, note to refill it (we refilled it two times), and a bottle of bubbly (Stewart did not let us refill that though...LOL!). Plus the photo coupon, which was available only a certain time that turn around day at a specific place. Wish we could have done the group B2B photo...much more fun... -
Thanks for sharing your vaca with us! Love it!

Mardi Gras still free and still rocking?
d-train replied to shibby sails's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
We did B2B on MG this past summer, so both eastern and western routes. the ship was so still on the western route, often didn’t realize we were ever moving. The eastern route, we rocked, just like other ships on the eastern route we have been on. I think it has more to do with moving in and out of the Atlantic and Caribbean oceans and the rough currents that sit in that transition, it is one of the corners of the Bermuda Triangle… -
Definitely check in before the first sailing begins. Otherwise, you would need to purchase the internet to check in while on board. I don’t think guest services can do that. like PP said, you will get instructions on the process between sailings. many do this, and they have it down like clockwork.
