If you go down a few floors you may get a deeper balcony. Just got off the Mera on 2/2/20, we were in 10267 (see below). These are only sought after cabins if you like a larger balcony and the oddly satisfying sound of prop wash (like a waterfall) at night. The only drawback for aft cabins on this ship is lack of stairs and elevator at the back of the boat. This means you will be doing a considerable amount of walking. If you know that going in you'll have a great cruise.

Have already purchased two hammock to take on our upcoming three cruises in April to use on our aft facing cabin.  Awesome idea  thank you

I once booked  a cruise with Costa on their UK website, saved about 50%! But I remember how nervous I was when we checked in, so havnt done it since, but have checked prices, a little to save, but not worth it too save 5-10% It said those prices were for people with a uk adress only/residents only....

Now I just checked the MSC UK website, for a transatlantic cruise in 2022. I can save about 20% on the cruisefare, hot drinks and water included   (not even water is incl if I book through my Scandinavian website!)-  and all service charge is included (about 700 USD if I book with the Scandinavian website)!

I have no problems logging in on the UK website with my voyager number!

What could happen if I book, and somehow they notice later or at check-in that I am neither a UK resident or have a UK passport?

I booked a TA in October yesterday. The booking was done through Australia which included the drinks package.  If you adjust for the drinks package included in the Australian booking and the Gratuities that are included in the UK booking site price is very similar.  The US costing for the same cruise was more than $1000- different

  3. Just spent 7 days on the Carnival Luminosa.  Yes the ship is old and not fully fitted out as a normal Carnival ship but it was certainly a great ship. The staff, The Cruise Director, Simon London, was awesome. Simon and his team made sure there were plenty of great activities.  The Luminosa Band was one of the best I have experienced. Thank you Calvin, KoKo, Ellison, Tom, and the other band members.  DJ Goa kept every dancing and happy on the Lido deck with a great choice of music

I had read some terrible reviews on other sites but just wanted to say we had a great week.  Ship was very clean, rooms were well attended, Lido Buffet was great.

Dining room staff were terrific. Food was 7 out of 10 but was fully satisfactory.

Would happily sail on her again

    Thank you

So.... to be clear.... only in an up-charge area? Nothing in the gym for everyone?

I thought that the steam room and sauna (men and women have separate) was available for everyone to access.  I am keen to know if this is correct

My recent (10 minutes ago!) experience with the Voyagers' credit for early booking:

I booked an early December 2023 Seascape cruise in late December 2022.  It took about a month to even be able to log into my booking on-line but I was finally able to do so yesterday.  No where could I find the OBC for booking early so I sent an email this afternoon to MSCExistingReservations@msccruisesusa.com.

Exactly 35 minutes I received an answer:  "we will have that credit applied 30-60 days prior to your sailing, but we have in {your} account that you will receive it due to your diamond membership status plus booking more than 6 months in advance."

Thanks for the email address. Emailed them and had a response in under 10 minutes. Excellent
