  1. Hi all,

I have been reading on CC for awhile as we have booked a cruise on Liberty in June having previously sailed on Radiance in Feb 2014.

I was hoping to share some info - and find out from other Australian cruisers if they have experienced the same. I was reading on a thread about the falling dollar in Canada and the Canadian experience of buying OBC at a better exchange rate through RCI. I rang RC Australia yesterday and enquired about the exchange rate if I bought OBC for our upcoming cruise. The info I received (which I was highly skeptical of) was the the exchange was 1:1. I asked in several different ways and kept being told if I purchased $800 (and it cost me AUD$800) I would receive US$800 in OBC. I went ahead and did it and rang back later to check and was told my reservation shows $800 OBC in US$. Has any other Australian cruiser had a similar experience?

    Thanks :)

Called back after booking mine and told that I have usd equivalent of the aussie $amount that I purchased. Sure wish I could see this on my booking.

Great info. I booked through a Travel Agent and when I call to ask questions RCL defer me back to the TA. Did you just call the number listed? or is there another number Thanks

  3. God, I hate posts like this .... just do your research, do some googling, put your big girl pants on and take a chance.

Seriously ?? How bad or boring do you really think a huge beautiful ship like Liberty would be ?? Youre not going from Oasis to the Bahamas Celebration, for gods sake.

    I'm Rude? OK.

Yes you are. the whole idea of a site like this is so people can feel comfortable asking any questions they want about cruising. When you belittle someone like the way you do it stops them from asking further questions.

  4. We are sailing Jan 1/17/15 and 1/24/15 in different grand suites. How do we go about moving our clothes on the turn around day? Who should we ask for advice once we are on board? With no Concierge Lounge is there a Concierge to consult with or do we speak to our stateroom attendant? Or Guest services? And, how do we obtain a new Sea Pass card? We did a B2B in the distant past but assume things have changed since then (I.e., leaving the ship and going thru customs, etc.) Thank you for any input.

Hi there, how did the B2B process go?

  5. Hello

I am due to travel on the Oasis back to back in March/April.

I am wondering if anyone knows after we have been taken off the ship and back through customs can we get back off the ship again and go into Ft Lauderdale for the day and come back on the ship then or do they not allow that in order to prevent us from getting mixed up with new passengers?

    Thanks

    ZJC
