Very sad but not not unexpected. Years ago, the hot glass show was SRO. That has gradually changed. Ready Player One... is going in.

My experience has been that I can play the piano but not use the digital functions. Just sayin’.

My wife was sick, we decided that I should go ashore on my planned excursion. The butler knew what was going on and checked in on her, unasked, several times while I was gone. Butlers can get timed reservations in Blu.

We’re Elite and we go to Happy Hour and not the Lounge. We get the drinks we want, not the drinks Princess wants to sell us.

It’s called OBC because it’s for use on board.

First of all I hope your husband is doing well. We have insurance to protect from loss. House, car, cruise .... If you choose to be self insured, that’s your decision.

Always book the cabin you want

I can remember midnight buffets, barbecue and sushi by the pool, death by chocolate, the grand brunch in the main dining room. Everything is it’s own profit center now. No profit, your history. Sad.

balconies on B and D are 80% covered. No soot.

We have sailed on an aft corner on the Golden. Wonderful cabin. Don’t change! It’s a covered balcony and, this is personal preference, there’s a shower and not a tub to step into. Aft balconies are the best!

it is always the cruisers responsibility to talk to the cabin steward if there is a problem. A few simple words can iron out a complex problem. Our suite carpet was not cleaned to our satisfaction and we discovered that the carpet was replaced the morning we arrived. In a few days all the “pill” was removed and all was well. Princess retains only the best crew members. Having a fresh carpet turned out to be a delight.

Yes, but they are expensive
Yes, but they are a lot cheaper than on other Cruiselines.

Balconies on B and D decks are mostly covered. Did not have a soot problem on a 3 week cruise on D.

You will have a greater choice of time if you call on board. Just make the call when you boa d.

wonder why Princess didn't offer the full suite at a can't refuse "upsell" offer first?
hmmmmmmm???
On a recent cruise the talk in Sabatini's at breakfast was the vacant owners suite. Princess doesn't give their suites away.

As a CCL shareholder, I hope you are wrong about holding back cabins. I has been my experience that Princess, like airlines anticipates that a certain number of people will cancel at the last minute. Airlines overbook, cruise lines sell guarantee cabins. It's the business plan.

It's personal preference. My wife doesn't like Blu. I do.

A wine opener won't be a problem. The foil cutter is. Be careful, it will be confiscated.

This has to be the best thread in a long time....
-
As others have said, I've only seen it at MUTS. I wouldn't want to encourage hoarding but.....

I have not read every post on this thread, but your TA should have sent you a Booking Confirmation with all the extras you received at the time of original booking. Your TA will have a copy. If your current BC is different from the original, your TA should have sent you the revised Booking Confirmation. The TA will also have an Agency Copy of the BC showing commisionable fare and their commission. It will also have the promotions and ncluded in the Payment Dtails section.

The answer is yes. We are also elite cruisers on Princess and I find the Club Class particularly grating. On our last cruise, one side of the anytime MDR entrance was reserved exclusively for Club class entry. A relatively small group of diners were seated in the alcove area just inside the entrance. Meanwhile, the line on the other side of "anytimers" extended well into the atrium area. I'm always in awe of businesses that go out of their way to irk their customers.
The issue of Princess changes has been well-documented on these boards, but do many off the points of differentiation that made Princess our choice years ago have become only available as premium items. Why upgrade on Princess when you can just upgrade to another cruiseline?
Sent from my SM-G920V using Forums mobile app
Upgrade on Princess because it is the best deal around. Better than RCL, better than Celebrity. CC is well worth the extra fare. The cruislines are simple doing what airlines and hotels have been doing for years. Pay more, get more.

Did the ferry even though the ship went through the canal . The ferry gives you a very different perspective on the canal since the boat is so much smaller. You can reach out and touch the canal walls. In addition, we found that the ferry less than 1/2 full since most people thought going through the canal once was enough. Very pleasant and insightful experience.

Depending upon the Zumba registration status of the instructor, it may or may not be called Zumba. But something will be there.
Cleaning/Disinfecting cabins?
in Princess Cruises
Posted
Sadly I have some experience in this matter. Princess has a dedicated crew that takes care of cabins with quarentined passengers. The normal steward does not do the cleaning.
