  1. Half & Half for coffee MDR lines not as bad at 8:40 but not enough staff to escort to tables, still pack full of pax not rushing to go anywhere.
  2. We’ve arrived … 0h Canada at Halifax. Local time is 7:24 ADT n Google Fi roaming on Bell’s 5G network. Rainy days on Mondays always get me down … Karen Carpenter’s Now, we do have shorter walk to downtown along the waterfront … later. @dexddd Good morning to all & you. Going to breakfast shortly, already hear others out on the hallway.
  3. @JIMESOPUS Muchas Gracias ... thanks, Jim Station Zebra going offline or off-the-air for a few hours to get some zzzz's with a port day in the morning. Then to "brace" for 5 full sea days crossing the pond to Iceland 😆😄😎🤗🫣 mking8288 - Henry Code 10-7 P.S. Course heading from onboard Nav Ch. 1 - 34.5 deg at 19.5 kts. No ETA ...
  4. Deal or No Deal 😄 Newest & lowest price to upgrade to unlimited with 70 free airtime minutes remaining for next 12 days with 7 full sea days ahead. FREE after offset with NR-OBC. Extra leftover $$ to cover 2 whole lobster upcharge at Paloma earlier. Sweet 😆
  5. Midnight witching hour, expected to be at Halifax after 6 AM local time. Not on NCL tour and sleeping late to avoid the surge for breakfast & gangway as I will be running our own private tour. Getaway inbound to NY for her TA later today. She is really running late & arrival look worst than us giving her coordinates now, oh dear. @bedfordmom Maybe you are on to something which I suspected all along but we can't "call" without ...
  6. FSD #3 - Donna tonight at 8:00 PM - one show only. After 9:30 PM, become Studio 54 like dance club. Port Agent info - all abroad 4:30 PM. Know of 2 pax, indirectly, flying into Halifax to catch the Prima ... missed all abroad cutoff in NY (took expired passports)
  7. Fingers crossed, Prima the only ship there ... been there w shuttle ride to Pier 22, know that drill 🙄 Hope not 🙏
  8. Looking ahead, Friday into Saturday as we approach Iceland from the SW looking dicey with counter clockwise weather pattern. Will deal with that, one way or another - been blessed with what I consider perfect weather overall 😄 for a typical TA.
  9. Pixel connected to ship WiFi, Station Zebra in stealth mode, hotspot tethering w 1 additional device concurrently. Dialed remotely into home security camera monitoring system to check our indoor house plants, over streaming video feeds.
  10. My knees wanted to rest but ... elevator down to Deck 7, walked past duty-free shops - Prada, anyone ... LV bags ?? - to drop off those Canada entry forms. And, to speak with an associate at Guest Services. Look into the system and said, call ext 00 and they will take care of it & deliver. Yes, sir - if they answer the phone, dialed 3 times from our room & nobody answered - or else I would not be standing here ... Thank God, the line was short - only 2 guests in front until my turn, and they aren't giving out pagers. Maybe, the housekeeping supervisor somehow pull some strings ... 3 cartons of water showed up by the time we came back to our cabin. Down to 180 free minutes on 1 account, will upgrade tomorrow.
  11. Door decorations might be banned elsewhere but not Deck 10 starboard side, walked past 3 or 4 along our stretch alone. More free movies to watch ... from our stateroom's interactive TV. Ship's navigational, Ch. 1 still being upgraded, no change from 6 months ago - not that useful or informative. 👎 👌 Windy Apps & CruiseMapper 👍
  12. Food Republic, rather empty tonight ... Surfside Cafe beginning to empty out at 8:30 PM ... After 9 PM closing, just 1 station open for refilling water bottles & getting hot water, etc.
  13. Tonight's Specialty Dining - 2 vouchers w a guest each - was excellent, we upcharged @$25 x 2 broiled lobster entree 👍 and left on a full stomach. 1-1-1 including 1 side each, dessert with French press coffee. Cancelled Haiski next week to do Paloma again w the grilled fish for 2, two dining voucher to be used for this - otherwise, M.P.
  14. This mess with the lines for the MDR, whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner is that the hostesses have their heads buried and 1 person trying to the triage the crowd surging toward the front, and it is plain poor crowd management and coordination. Set up 2 lines with signage and organize, 3 lines if they need to and direct everyone from the back, it doesn't have to be this - rearrange the mousetraps & minefields. They also were calling us with the wrong names and knew we were waiting patiently for 30+ minutes for our priority seating. BTW, it's the same team working the front and even the same assistant manager is onboard & working in a different section or area. They aren't new on doing this 😔🤔😬
  15. M&G was successful with very good turnout, CC'er came in full force ... Pub crawl later this week but no cabin crawl or slot pull.
  16. DW confirmed that strawberries are grown & bigger. Missing our 3 cartons of water and 2nd balcony got 2 only, first world problem with Latitudes perk. Diamond = 2 and Gold = 1 for 3 per stateroom. Spoke w room steward, reported to supervisor - advised to call Guest Services, who then can inform CruiseNext, or go downstairs to stand in line & speak to them directly. Called 00 twice and it rang, nobody answered at all. Hang up & will try later - I really do not want to do a Dear GM notice in his mail Dropbox for a minor nuisance. I hope if there is an emergency onboard and someone dialed the operator or 0, that someone answer & get help, STAT. My CPR & AED certifications are expired if I happened to be nearby. Huh, it's soccer season or football time, let punt the ball. 😳🙄😬
  17. Menus and selections hasn't changed, good and portion sizes are small but fine. Buffet closed at 9 PM sharp but you can refill water there, clean cup to transfer. Gallery operations front line view from Hudson MDR
  18. Telling it like it is but being a "critic" calling it out as I see it, our 2nd time around on the Prima. Otherwise, calm seas and waves at 3 ft. slept like being on land w/o earthquake. Still a better day cruising then ...
  19. Thank you for helping us from writing up about this dining mess, Diamonds in 2 cabins and they can't do things right. Photos speak for themselves - roosters lost and dancing on circles while we stand & watch, pager reset & lost us, blamed the system reset and the white stripes looking busy. Palomora tonight should be fine, tomorrow night is going to be fine ... I have a background in hospitality and don't buy this BS
