  1. Feb 2021 was last visit there. Golden Eagle was awesome. Like the cruise ship, # of people on board were way down which made it even better. Fun trip to snorkel site, then to a beach for some chill time. Fun trip back to port taking in lots of coastline. A lively trip! Will be there in Feb 2023 and we’ve already booked it again.
  2. We’ll want to exchange mini bar for coffee package(s). So is it your room steward that approves and makes this happen or do we need to coordinate with guest services?

  7. Has Princess started offering Easy Check again? (Bags picked up on last night and brought to the airport for you.) Wasn’t available last couple of cruises. I’m thinking with the reduced capacity they couldn’t make any profit on it. Yes they did charge for it but it was very convenient. On the Sky soon in Ft Lauderdale and hoping to see it start back up. Anyone in the know?
  8. As I had mentioned, we’ve had similar delays on Princess and they did give us future cruise credits for compensation. Their cruise insurance also covered our additional cost (flights and hotel). CCL owns Princess so you would think they would all follow the same protocol. It’s called retaining customers and keeping them happy 😀.
  9. We were on the Nov 5th sailing that spent an extra day at sea because of hurricane Nicole. Some may think that’s a bonus but for those of us that had to rebook flights, miss work, pay extra parking and pet boarding, it turns into a considerable extra expense. We have insurance through Carnival and filed a claim but uncertain of being reimbursed. What surprised me is that Carnival offered no compensation for the inconvenience at all. They gave us “free” internet but with everyone trying to use it, it was of little to no use. We’ve had these itinerary delays happen on Princess several times and always had received some form of compensation. Surprised also to not have seen any other posts here on this occurrence. Thoughts anyone?
  10. We received ours about 6 weeks from sail date. Didn’t like the location so we called and upgraded for a little $.
  11. I see deck 9 has a cafe bar. Where else can you get espresso drinks? Deck 7 atrium bar? Buffet?
  12. I sail in November. Planner online says save up to 15% by buying internet plan online prior to boarding. I put it in the cart but there is no discount shown. Does it get applied later? Or does anyone have any experience on this? Thanks...
  13. Update: we did get our cabin # earlier this week. OV but 6B, deck 5 aft. Didn’t like that and was able to move up to deck 7 just forward of the atrium, 6D. Did cost a little (50/ea, 100/total) but worth it to us. 😎
  14. Booked on the Paradise Nov 5th sailing. Wasn’t given the option to pick cabin other than OV class. When should I expect to know cabin #?
