Hey all sail next week on adventure OTS , hoping not to miss the Canuck , Edmonton games , any suggestions on how to stream them , or any chance they would be on the tv onboard . I know two Canadian teams , might be a hard sell from east coast sailing

Total open to hear any hidden gems , you might recognize, going to need a good coffee shop near by for sure

Will be on the search for good local pubs , hoping to hit Katz deli , but looks like it’s a ways away , monk/toms diner , and will definitely take in the physical graffiti building on he way

We are there for 4 full days before we sail , definitely want to make it to 113 st marks pl , , and hoping to take in maybe a hockey game , or something like that , will be early march , so can’t imagine it will be super warm lol

Hey all were cruising out of NY next march , and have already booked hotel The Renwick , we plan on doing a lot of walking to see sites and it seemed like good location , guess my first question would be is it safe to walk about at night , obviously the common sense precautions are always taken , but a few of the stops we want to see are an hour walk from hotel . another question is coming from JFK to hotel , is an Uber as cost effective as a taxi ? plan on studying the subway system , just wondering do you buy a day pass , or pay as you go ,

For the four nights would like to be under 1500 Canadian on the hotel , so about 1250 ish usd , I know it’s not a lot of time to take in everything NY has to offer , so will definitely be a whirl wind tour . Could probably change air ports without issue , out flight would currently land at 6:30 , figured 1 hour to be out of terminal, so thought traffic might be lighter I have no point of reference, as never been before

Hey all Booked cruise out of New Jersey for march 2025 , have just booked flight to JFK for 4 days before cruise , I was hoping for some hotel advise for our stay in the city , nothing super fancy just clean and close to stuff , it’s our first time to NY , so hoping for some sightseeing and a show , maybe a comedy club , Central Park , monks diner ect… thanks in advance all

Hey all going on our first oceanic cruise in a few weeks , couple questions . First are there daily activities, trivia’s , and stuff like name that tune , ect ? I got the drink package , but my wife did not , I read about a happy hour , can someone elaborate on this last question , I also read that we can take spirts on board , is this just on embarkation day Happy holidays

We were just off navigation, never dawned on us when booking that it’s spring break our kids are older , there was reported 1000 kids on board , other than some running and just kids being loud , all seemed pretty tame ….. what I imagine Disney to be like . Hell LOL #Cruiselikerickjessop

Hey there wondering if anyone have had experience switching cruise without the 100 PP fee , if royal changed the itinerary and drop one port for another ? , since I consider this a far less desirable port , I’m less interested in that cruise and would like to switch

Hey looking for the info , but could not find current answer, the refundable fare for the cruise I’m looking at is 1100 buck Canadian more , I have no intention of canceling, but ya never know what could happen 1.5:years from now , my question is if I go no refundable, I can still change the sailing date if need be just won’t get my money back ? I always sail royal , so I don’t mind investing if not for the cruise I book , but another , basically what I’m saying is I don’t need the cash back , just not interested in loosing money if I switch
