That's why I've applied for GE. Have my interview in March.
yep...and having them for international flights returning to US has saved us from some nasty lines!
-
Hats off to my hubby who took our Global Entry cards with him on the cruise. There is a separate line in the Fort Lauderdale disembark area for those with Global Entry. There was no one in the line and it saved quite a bit of time for us!!

Mentioning specific TA is a violation of the T&C for this site.
My mistake, didn't know about that policy!!

We are looking to book a cruise on RP next year. The available mini suites in our price range are on decks 15 (M204,205,207) and 16 (L210 or L209).
I couldn't find any specific postings about these suites and their locations.
Does anyone have any input on any of these?? Too high, too much motion, too much noise, etc??
Thanks in advance.:)

We were on the Emerald Dec 14- 19 and I posted my review yesterday. I think it will take a few days to appear. I was getting worried having seen negative reviews however, we were both pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed our cruise. Not everything was perfect of course, but our expectations were exceeded. I wouldn't change anything based on what you read.
It seems that reviews are very polarized...either really great or really bad.
The best that I can say is that we are now considering another Princess cruise next year.

We just returned from a quick 5 day on the Emerald. I was definitely on high alert after reading some of the negative reviews. I just don't understand the negativity. It was a wonderful cruise. Food and service was great, with two nights in the specialty restaurants.
The casino was NO smoking allowed which I appreciated more than anyone. I play Hold em poker, and we had a game every night. Most nights there was waiting for a seat which the casino refused to make a list for, insisting that the table do it ourselves. I have never seen this done in any other casino that I have visited. It really is a recpie for disaster
We signed up for the Sanctuary which I enjoyed very much. We did not have the greatest weather, which made the Sanctuary something I could have passed on, but we purchased it for the entire cruise. The photos, as usual were very high priced. I really believe people would purchase more if they lowered the price.
All in all, a wonderful cruise, any questions, ask away.
Bella
When you purchase the Sanctuary for the entire cruise, what does that include?
Thanks!

What kind of viewing choices are on the cabin TV?? We do know about movies under the stars which is nice but we also want "movies in our jammies"!!

Hubby likes to have his martini before dinner. On our last cruise, it was very difficult to get a drink with dinner in the MDR (Zuiderdam) .
If we want to start dinner with a martini and some wine, is it easy to do this in the MDR??
Also, is there a list of the cost of mixed drinks/wines??
Thank you!

Besides the 1000 things I need to do before my cruise on 12/14, I need to buy my first smart phone. I do have an iPhone 6 for work that is provided to me so I have never had to think about charges before.
Most likely, I will purchase an iPhone 6 and, of course, a contract (ouch).
I did see that there are some classes for smart phones on the ship and I felt that may be useful for me.
So, here's my question, if I have my own smart phone, will I get socked for charges for roaming while on the ship? Could I go to these classes and just use part of the phone to avoid roaming charges? I know my questions are basic but I really have no clue about these charges.
Thanks in advance!!

What does that mean?? It's charged to my coffee card but doesn't count?? or, I can have 100 cups for the price of one????
Or, it's free and I don't need a coffee card??
Maybe I haven't had enough coffee today to figure this out!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving!

IC... already on my 2nd cup o joe for the day!
Are you sailing the 5 day WCG that departed yesterday?
No, we are on the Dec 14 cruise...

So, I am a lousy sleeper and usually wake up early. Like to have my morning cup right away! Where can I go that's easy on Emerald Princess? We will be on the D deck.
Or, is is quick to get just coffee from room service?
I plan on buying a coffee card.
Thanks!!

We don't want to include extra clothing in our bags just for this one night. Where can we eat on the ship during formal night and not be dressed up?
Thanks in advance!
Royal Princess Mini Suites on Decks 15 or 16?
in Princess Cruises
Posted
Thank you for the good comments! We actually did book our cruise a week ago. I got an email from a well known wholesaler in our area offering the two for one Princess sale prices and credits plus $360 on board credit from the wholesaler. The timing was perfect as I was very familiar with the Princess sale....we are not usually that lucky. That sale was only for 5 days so we had to act. So we are booked for a 10 day on Royal in M204. The larger balcony mini suites were already booked so we couldn't choose one of those.
All in all, we got the two for one price plus $860 on board credit for the 10 day cruise (400 from Princess, 360 from the wholesaler, and 100 for hubby's VA status).
I am happy with the deal and we are actually considering getting some stock to increase the credits even more!!! I would love to see your pictures anyway! Please post!
Thanks,
Emily (clampram)
