  1. The "Go Lounge" in Fort Lauderdale is a relatively new offering for suite passengers prior to embarkation. It is not at the port but rather is on 17th Street. There is a concierge there to assist passengers and there has been some mention that they help with onboard reservations including the sanctuary. I am looking for anyone that may have recent experience doing this at the Go Lounge.
  2. I would like to be able to book the Sanctuary at the lounge before my next cruise. If you did this, how did it go??? I read some early accounts of this not working quite well and I wonder if this service has been improved? Thanks in advance
  3. How do you all get your final bill? In the past, I have gone down to the kiosk near the Service Desk and printed out from there. I can't remember getting a bill any other way. Does Princess give it to you while on board? What if you don't get it at all while on the cruise? Thanks in advance
  4. Contact your Princess vacation planner. They can get that for you
  5. I was complaining as well! But, honestly it is easy and better than all of the steps required before. It is a 2 part process........put in as much info as you are comfortable. Once you submit that, you will get an email acknowledging your submission and "approving" you. next just go ahead and provide your specific cruise info and then you will get an acknowledgement after several days. My credit showed up on my future booking within 2 days
  6. You need to add in " I wa in a suite and I called my PVP / Princess to get an invite to this lounge"
  7. How far in advance can I make specialty dining reservations for a cruise in December? We are Platinum level if that makes a difference. Thanks for your help in advance!
  8. My cousin has downloaded the new app and completed the infp but no shareholder credit has shown up on his upcoming cruise documents. I am looking for specific instructions to get this applied to his account some other way. Can it be done once you board?? Thanks in advance
  9. On the Royal class ships (including the Regal) there are a cluster of suites surrounding the Concierge Suite Lounge on the Riviera deck. Since these lounges are staffed by concierge, it is a terrific benefit to be in one of those suites. You can use the lounge as much as you like and the concierge helps you to do all the planning, getting your reservations, changing your tours and on and on. I did not realize what a great perk this is until we did a Riviera suite last year on Royal Princess. You never have to go to the customer service desks, there are parties on some days...it is just great. We have reserved another suite on the Enchanted in the same location for later this year
  10. I booked a cruise for December and used my FCDs to book. My one and only payment is due in September. Can I add insurance now into my reservation and pay this with the rest of my payment in September?? I want to avoid paying now if I can. Thanks for you help!
  11. The new Go Lounge also offers help with bookings for onboard. They can help you to book the sanctuary while you are there. This should give you a heads up over the people who run to get there when they get on the ship
  12. Am I missing something here? Isn't it just as easy to load cash onto your cruise personalizer pre cruise which will be there to spend when you board??
  13. I use the free laundry, however, I don't send any clothing that may be ruined. I take laundry pods and dryer sheets with me to do the things that I don't want to send out. While you can purchase the detergent and dryer sheets on board my experience is that after a few days those items may or may not be available. You didn't which which ship but most of them have a laundry area on every deck!
  14. Thank you for the quick responses
  15. We recently booked Enchanted Princess for a 10 day cruise in Dec 2024. Where can I view details of insurance purchase and the cost for the platinum. We are elite so I think we get the basic insurance for free??? Or am I dating myself?
  16. So when you book your time in the Sanctuary you actually pick your seats at that time?
  17. Can you choose your seating?? Hubby needs to be in shade.
  18. If you like/hate the Sanctuary can you provide some details. From what I understand, it is a private place to sit in the sun with drinks?? Is it worth the price??? I have cruised Princess many times but never took advantage of this feature
  19. I couldn't edit my post. In the past we were in L108 with the very large balcony which you will also have in L107. Those huge balconies are terrific. When you are underway, most of the time you cannot go out there because of the wind. The doors are NOT locked but it is uncomfortable out there with the wind. In port these balconies are awesome. Take the offer
  20. I would certainly take this offer. For me, the additional space of the forward balcony would be a plus as well as the addition of Club Class dining which gives you the ability to have a nicer environment and better service in the dining room without waiting
  21. As a Suite Passenger, you may be contacted to utilize the new offsite Concierge Lounge at Port Everglades. There are some threads here where you can read about it. I understand that at the current time it's only by invitation. Do you have a PVP??? Maybe they can get an invite for you
  22. Here's an answer from a former business traveller. if you miss the flight, what is the next flight that the airline can put you on?? Don't assume that the next flight is in a couple of hours because that flight may be full...do you have enough status for this? April 27 is a Saturday and on a Saturday in April those flights may be booked solid........are you prepared to wait a couple of days for the next available seats??
  23. OK but...allow way more than 30 minutes to get there esp if it's a weekday. Traffic into Boston from every direction is stinking bad
  24. I have done business travel to the seaport area in Boston for some time. During the summer, the cost of hotels in this area is much higher. I suggest that you make a reservation that is cancellable at the hotel of your choosing so that you have a price estimate that's within your budget. In the distant past, the Princess cruise packages that included pre and post cruise stays were a significant savings but unfortunately I don't see that reflected in today's pricing from Princess. Further, depending on your hotel choice you may be close enough to walk if you don't have a lot of luggage. The walk from the Renaissance hotel to the terminal is .6 miles
