Yes, and you can do it on line as well

Does anyone know:
1. If disembarking in Miami, can we use luggage valet to FFL.
2. What airlines are participating in both FFL and MIA?

Another factor is if you are hoping to sail on Celebrity more in the future and wish to get to a higher level in the Captains Club faster. You earn more points in a Concierge Cabin than a regular one.
We have also never been in a regular cabin on Celebrity and to us the perks are worth the extra.
Reflection is my favorite ship! You will have a great time!

Hey all,
I am sure this has been asked a million times, but I can not search on my iPad to find the answer. Does X offer luggage valet out of the Port of Miami to the Miami Airport, Ft Lauderdale Airport or both?
If so what airlines?
Thanks in advance!

In my opinion Celebrity is so much better in the food department then Princess. I have sailed on both lines and the Celebrity ships offer so many more options at their buffet then Princess. I do also feel the main dining room is also better on Celebrity. Princess seems to have had many cut backs in the dining room over the last few years. I am sure there are some people who will disagree with me but in my opinion Celebrity is the winner in the food department.
I absolutely agree. Especially with the specialty dining! Celebrity wins hands down for me!

Just went back and checked. It won’t even let me go through the check in process again. And the print XPress Pass button is there. So I guess it’s okay. Just the typical screwiness of the Celebrity website. I can’t believe they haven’t fixed these issues yet. Hasn’t stuff like this been going on for about a year and a half now?

Way longer than a year and a half......

Celebrity does have a great line up of events, just will be a bit different than what you have seen on your previous cruises. We really enjoy the events.
Celebrity does not have the slides, rock walls etc..... They do have a teen club and arcade, we have friends whose kids they totally love it.
The buffets are excellent with a huge variety of food, which usually includes both Indian and Asian dishes.
The number of families will depend on the time of year. Summer and school breaks will see more families. Some will say the demographic is older, but I do not generally see that. I find that most of the time the age range is around 40.
We don’t generally go to movies so I am no help there.

That was not my experience, they were business as usual.

Alaska was my first Celebrity Cruise as well, and now my favorite cruise line. The solstice is an amazing ship. Remember the other free dining venues, everyone is mentioning the Ocean View Cafe and the Main dining room but they are not the only ones.

We always upgrade, if it is not included with our suite, we just don’t want the hassle of paying the difference on purchases not included.

Reflection is by far my favorite ship! You will not be disappointed. From your post, I am assuming that the ports are acceptable and you are really trying to decide on which ship. They all are great ships, but as you mentioned Connie is an older ship. For us the ship is the destination, the ports are the icing on the cake!

Chef’s Table is amazing....

I think the largest tables seat 12. We always travel with a large group and have had two separate tables. It worked very well.

What level of suite? If it is Royal Suite or higher you should receive an email from the shoreside concierge before your cruise. Just ask them to set it up for you and I would bet the high chair will be in your cabin the first day.

The OP stated that the daughter would be an adult fare. So I don’t think the age will be an issue, I am wondering how to get an extra key to the room so the daughter can come and go.
Have you considered connecting cabins?

I like that idea, but alas... I may also end up cheating the system by getting an inside stateroom/sky suite/CS all together on the 8th deck. I have heard you can stick the kids in “steerage” as long as it is directly across from your room. For those worried- We would have the kids still sleep with us. It just looks like the inside stateroom may actually be cheaper than 3rd/4th guest in the suite.
PSU- what was the sofa bed like in the CS on Summit? Twin or bigger?
You may have to book, you in one room with one of the kids and your spouse in the other room with the other kiddo.

We arrived once at about 2 am, and got a room at the Howard Johnsons near the airport. We were able to check in and crash for the rest of the night, worked out great!

We have also received emails, but have called and spoken to them as well. Last year, we got an email from them when we were booked on RCI instead of X. Because they are RCCL employees, they work for both lines. It was the same concierge as the year before when we were in a RS on the Reflection.

But it doesn't affect the loyalty lounges because we give away alcohol for free.
Right, I will be in the diamond lounge!

Difference in Perks - Summit RS vs. CS?
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
The RS does include unlimited specialty dining. And a few others perks. But not $4 worth imho. That said we always book the RS, it is our favorite !
