Hello from the Coral Sea! I must be hallucinating with the heat because these clouds look like icebergs! Yesterday at 6 pm Cameo Rascale performed. It’s a husband and wife circus variety act. They were incredible! It was standing room only! They received a huge standing ovation. They will be on one more time. Don’t miss them if you have the opportunity.

Good Morning Cooktown! We arrived at 0625. This is a tender port with a 30-40 minute ride. At 0730 the Captain came overhead with an announcement. The winds will be too strong for tendering. They are expected to increase. We will leave and head for Darwin. Our 6th cancelled port. Today is Day 62. Goodbye Cooktown. See the flag…windy.

Hi Mary. I’m sorry we had a long day and I wasn’t able to get an answer. I will work on that tomorrow. Today we were in Townsville, a city on the coast of Queensland. We did a 4.5 hour excursion…Townsville and Billabong Sanctuary. It was the usual Hot & Humid! We saw many animals today. The highlight was probably the crocodiles. We were able to hold a three year-old male. Koala

Good Morning Coral Sea! I will ask about John the CD but I believe he will be on the entire cruise. Massimo and the Captain will be departing in Singapore. Franck Galzy and Captain Aivo Palm will replace them.

We had 210 new guests join us in Sydney. I heard many are first time Regent cruisers. Today is the Captain’s Welcome. It is starting at 9:20 PM. He will introduce the Senior Staff. At 9:30 PM the entertainment starts. This happened last segment also. I was told it was because of rough seas. The Tasman Sea is very calm today. Yippee! Is this happening on the other ships?? Francisco, the absolute best!

Today we had another amazing Grand Buffet. No Caviar this time but they made up for it with Oysters!

Hi Rose. It was wonderful to meet you! Safe travels to you. The sailing out of Sydney was superb! Bridge People Ferris Wheel Tonight’s Fish macadamia nut crusted Baramundi with a lemon cream sauce . Delicious!

Today we had an excursion to Bondi Beach and the Opera House. We left at 0830 so we hit traffic. Bondi Beach We got to the Opera House about 1045. The bus has to park a fair distance from the entrance. There are many steps. It’s gorgeous inside. Drink menu during performances Window washers Leaving soon. More photos to come!

G’day Sydney! We had a beautiful sail in. Only bad part it is 96°. Crew enjoying the Bridge The ship cleared about 2:30. We had to go through immigration. There was a computer glitch so it took awhile. Our excursion was Aussie Wildlife. It was an hour of driving each way. But we got this picture! Beautiful evening shots! Hi Sue. I asked about cleaning to enter New Zealand and was told the hull was cleaned extensively!

Hi Sue. I don’t think so. I will ask someone who might know and get back to you. So far the Tasman Sea is listening to my prayers. It’s not worse than what we had in the South Pacific. I looked yesterday and Sydney is supposed to be in the nineties when we arrive…98 to be exact. I don’t care for that. Has anyone done the excursion Aussie Wildlife?? Is it worth braving the heat??
