I can't believe it! We're sailing March 27 - April 3 on the Bliss to Mexican Riviera and all Haven cabins are sold out! We're booked in a club balcony and was hoping to upgrade to any haven suite. 😞
In any case, I'm sure we"ll have a great cruise 🙂

I am due to cruise with NCL in July, my daughter turns 12 exactly 7 days before we sail. NCL have told me that she must be double vaccinated 2 weeks before she boards. Where I live children under 12 can only be vaccinated if they have underlying health conditions. I have no issues with getting her the vaccine but atm I can’t there is no where for me to take her to get it. NCL have told me that unless she is double vaccinated she can’t board! This was not the policy at the time of booking. Does anyone have any advice is there anything I can do?
here is what NCL has on their Sail Safe page: children 11 and under can sail if unvaccinated unless it is not allowed in the ports you are sailing to?
SAFETY FOR OUR GUESTS AND CREW
Mandatory Vaccinations Against Covid-19
All guests age twelve and over, as well as all crew, must be fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to departure in order to board. While we welcome unvaccinated children ages eleven and under onboard, it is the responsibility of the guest to be aware of any local protocols and/or travel restrictions in place at the visiting destinations at the time of sailing.
*Click here for a list of vaccines accepted to sail aboard our fleet.

You are still able to pay what they were when you booked.
If you waited until you boarded for a cruise after April 1st it would be the higher price. In the case of your Club Balcony, you are 'saving' $2.50 per day per person by pre-paying now.
We booked in December 2021, so Club Balcony should be $18 pp/pd, right? So maybe it being a Casinos at Sea booking, they charged me the rate of the original free Oceanview cabin?

We're in a Club Balcony Suite and after reading this, went and prepaid our service charges. They only charged us $15.50 per person per day, though. Could it be because it's a free cruise from Casinos at Sea? I was given a free Oceanview and I upgraded to Club Balcony.

It may depend on itinerary but last week we were on local time except for Puerto Vallarta, which was an hour off. So we set the clocks ahead 1 hr and kept them there until our return.
So were you at Puerto Vallarta from 12pm to 8pm ship time as the itinerary shows? in which case it is really 1pm to 9pm Puerto Vallarta time?

Can anyone who has done the Bliss Mexican Riviera cruise tell me if they change to local time at ports? I just want to make sure I won't miss our tours.
Thanks.

I just spoke with my PCC and was told that on my March 27-April 3 cruise on the Bliss, they are only booking from 60% to 75% capacity

Hi dalmoradie: We haven't done this trail personally, but you might want to read more on this website before you plan it out. quote: "only recommended for very experienced adventurers." Lots of personal trail ratings and experiences on the site may give you a better idea about the Canyon hike.
https://www.alltrails.com/trail/mexico/baja-california/canon-el-salto 380m elevation gain, 7.9 km.
Maybe you want the 'easy' trail that just goes to the waterfall? 84m elevation gain, 3.4 km.

Hope your trip goes well, stay safe!
I have no idea which trail they use with the NCL excursion so I might just look for something else to do. We certainly do not want to go in over our heads.
Thanks!

Has anybody done the El Salto Hiking trip in Ensanada? Is it a difficult hike? We are 60+ year olds and are quite active, but would prefer a hike that is not too difficult.
Thanks for any insight.

I have a travel router that will connect to the ships wifi as one device, and then I can connect multiple devices to the router.
This is what I believe was being mentioned with a mobile wifi hotspot.
I highly recommend it.
can you tell me which device you use to do this? Thanks

We will be on the Bliss Mexican Riviera Sailing March 27-April 3. Can anyone who has done this cruise in March tell me how rough the sea will be? My sister gets very sea sick and was wondering is she would need to get prescription strength meds for this? TIA!

use the chat feature. I made the same mistake and booked the wrong day and the chat agent changed it for me real quick.

Which ship? I've been on a Haven 2-Bedroom on the Pearl and the Getaway. The 2nd Bedroom on both ships had a couch that turns into a double bed. There is also a couch in the living room that also turns into a bed. I have also seen some ships that had bunkbeds in the 2nd bedroom, so I guess it depends on the ship

FYI: I booked this cruise at Casinos at Sea (they gave me a free oceanview room which I upgraded to Club balcony Suite). I called them about adding a guest and I was told we only needed to pay the taxes, port charges and insurance which totalled $214.00. This is after full payment deadline.

It is possible, but cost quite a bit. IIRC they will charge the same as adding a 2nd or 3rd guest at haven room prices. Promos do not apply. I won a bid and was told it would be around 1100 to add one.
bummer 😞

My husband and I are booked in an MA Club Balcony Suite. We put in bids for several Haven Suites including the 2-bedroom Family Suites. Is it possible to add guests to our booking if we win the 2-bedroom? Will they be considered as "free extra guests" with the promo? TIA

On the Bliss Haven Aft Penthouse Suite, how is the bed configuration for the 3rd and 4th persons? does the sofa turn into a queen size bed or is there a bunkbed from the ceiling like some of the 2-bedroom suites?

Sailing on the Bliss March 27-April 3. Got the email today.

This sounds very similar to when my mother-in-law fell and broke her hip in the casino on Getaway in 2018 on the 2nd day of a 7-day cruise. Her and my sis-in-law were off-loaded in Belize. They were told an NCL rep will handle everything. They were put on an ambulance and they never heard from NCL again. My sis in law (who does not speak spanish) had to arrange for a medivac to fly them back to Florida. That was the worst nightmare for both of them. Luckily, my MIL had great health insurance that covered all the expenses.

Got my refund today. It took only 38 days. I’m impressed with ncl.

Thanks! I don’t know exactly when the FCC disappeared ( i hadn’t logged on for a while) so i’ll just keep monitoring my cc.

My september cruise to bermuda was cancelled after full payment and I requested a refund instead of fcc when the application for refund went live. Today i looked at my ncl and the fcc is not there anymore. Does this mean I am going to get my refund soon? I looked at my credit card and i don’t see the money back yet.

I've been trying to upgrade to the unlimited premium wi-fi (with streaming) for $119.93 since this weekend for our March 27 Bliss Cruise and it just won't go through. Any ideas why?
