  1. The only difference i found between the cl and dl comes with the new drink card system. The concierge lounge, has the classic happy hour unlimited drinks  while the diamond lounge uses the current vouchers. I have been using the diamond lounge  as I found no difference between the 2 and sometimes if there’s a lot of diamonds on board a ship, for example a transatlantic or transpacific they would have the happy hour in a bigger venue , on the voyager or freedom class, they would use the star lounge on deck five or the entire Viking crown lounge. Some ships now put the diamond lounge on deck 5 instead of 14

  2. CVM Medical has a testing clinic at the airport right beside the US check-in desks.  Look to the right of the counters towards the end past the entrance to the hotel when you enter the terminal . You can get the results in 15 minutesYou can get the results in 15 minutes. this is the testing info  sheet that Royal Caribbean Will deliver to your state room with website for them and Other testing providers in the Vancouver area

  3. The video and emergency signal on the app will count when you view it well the countdown timer on the safety page is displayed you can even do those two steps at home or in your hotel and visit the master station first thing upon Boarding and then you’re done. My next screws I may wash the video on the skytrain Heading to the Terminal

I thought the luggage cages were usually kept onboard? Then it seems that they might need some forklifts? But I agree with you, I don't think it will be a smooth process, plus they have to re-assign all of the passengers to new cabins.

They can assign them to the same cabin on the new ship as the Conquest is one of the sister ships to the freedom

But what happens if you are getting on in Vancouver and staying on the ship in Seward for the trip back?  Will we need to update for the return trip or is this just one trip?

I Just got off Radiance today and did Vancouver Seward and back to Vancouver for arrivecan I use the day I boarded radiance as date of embarkation and disembarkation day As my date of arrival. They did not check for proof of our arrivecan At check-in Vancouver and wellness check in Seward or upon arrival in Vancouver.   For port of entry be sure to use Vancouver cruise ship operations. The Internet on board would be dreadfully slow In three days leading up to the return leg starting so I did arrive can This Way to avoid Internet issues

  6. Radiance will not allow b2b passengers in the same cabin back in to cabin until 1:30. However several passengers were ignoring them and went back anyways . In Seward They have you do your wellness check in the theater where the b2 b passengers meet as there’s no cbp inspection  and have the safety video on a continuous loop and then marks everyone down as completing the safety breifing .

  7. Radiance does not have any more blocks so are waiting on their new shipment aswell they used their last few on the first sailing back. A bit of advice. Hand the form to the LA and not guest services.  Chances are that guest services will forget to hand the form to the LA . The supplier was having issues due to covid was the issue that they are telling people

  8. It will count when you see the count down on the safety page I watched it before I left home and then stopped at the muster station upon boarding.  When the The safety briefing window is over the captain will make a final safety announcement and sound the 7 short 1 long signal so people can hear what it sounds like. Some ships have pa tone only  and  vision voyager and freedom classes have bells and Sounders aswell

  9. I like to stay on and enjoy the ship when people are off.  If they have a crew drill in which lifeboats air lowered I like to watch them from deck 12 .  I might get off at lunch if there is a bit of ships but definitely will if there is a senor frogs or Margaritaville by the dock or if it’s a tender port i’ll get off just to ride a tenders kind of like a lifeboat excursion as sometimes the ships tenders are used

  10. With the new way of doing the muster drill. On your state room TV or the Royal app . Do they still sound the emergency signal ship wide like they used to do at the beginning of the old style muster drill . I’m on a cruise on Radiance next week and have sensitive hearing so would like to know if it is used still and how long before departure they will set it off If they still sound it

  11. Not sure if they’re still doing it but when I was on the explorer in 2017 for the ice show. they Will assign specific day and time for  the Ice show.  How they did it was in the cruise compass they would have specific muster stations assigned to a show. They still had a standby line In the event you’re not able to make it on the day assigned to your muster station . With the Covid protocols they may has switched to a first come first serve reservation system And schedule more opportunities to see the show . The ice show on explorer of the seas Was very good quality

  12. The cups are coded to expire on a specific day .  On explorer they had to replace everyone’s cups twice on a 24 day Sydney to Seattle cruise as they expired after 2 weeks .  I also took a b2b on Freedom where the cup was coded for 2 weeks even though it was only supposed to be good for one week. and did work on the second cruise. The machine will tell you what day it expires when you use the machine

  13. Bars will be open although some Will open later on in the day. For mariner generally the bar in the Windjammer and the pub on the promenade are likely to be open in Port . The only place I know of that has restrictions and bars opening is Canada which only allows one bar per deck to open well in port

  14. I was in Martinique in November on a cruise.  We had a note emailed to us before the cruise stating that a passport was required to go ashore.  When we got there. There was no Passport check when disembarking or reboarding. Alway good to have a passport if you are not sure if a port requires it
