There is 100% chance that she will not be on the Summit.  Why would you think she would be on the Summit if she was on the Beyond?
If she was on the Beyond she will still remain there or be on the Ascent when it sails.

Odds are slim I agree but maybe she mentioned it to the OP in conversation. I have spoken to many crew who don't like the E Class ships, declined the offer to go on them or can't wait to leave.

We last sailed the Eclipse in 2017.  If you've cruised her in the past year, can you comment on its condition?  I know it hasn't been refurbished so has that affected the linens, carpets, draperies, etc in the cabins.  The common areas I'm sure will be in good shape, just concerned re the cabins.

Not quite true. Eclipse has not been revolutionised but it has been refurbished (2020).

We have just left her following a B2B in March and she was in fantastic shape, almost as good as first built, it's clear that carpets soft furnishings etc have been renewed. We first sailed on Eclipse in 2012 and it seemed just as good as. we were so pleased it has not been revolutionised and is as built.

    We were in concierge cabin.

I see many comments that there is no forward view open deck for non-Retreat guests on S class ships. That is not true. You just have to know where to look. There is an open forward deck with some loungers on deck 12 outside the gym. Just go in the gym to the front door. and voila! Forward view deck and loungers.

Depends on the ship, Eclipse still has full forward access with no retreat area. The gym area is also widely known about.

We’re getting ready to board the Eclipse on a B3B starting April 19. I’ve read X will be providing a complimentary test kit for each of us in our cabin the day prior to each transition day. Are you suggesting we don’t need to show anyone the results if we don’t want to? Interesting…

We've just completed back to back 10th and 15th March. Test kits are awaiting in your cabin after reboarding on transition day.Tests are on an honour basis so no you don't have to report any result positive or negative.
