    Hey ... I read your review but have a question. I'm leaving oct 16 on fantasy. Did you or anyone you were with use a birth certificate to board? .. And if so did any of them happen to be the little card size ? That's the size my boyfriend has and was told it would work but just wondering if y'all used this. Thanks

    I'm confused about the tax part. If we are allowed 10$ and under ... It said for example the drink is 5$ we are still getting charges .50cents on our s&s card .. When it's still under 10$ shouldn't it be free??

     

    And the us water part is charged taxes... Is this just while In port and haven't departed ? Or how long are we considered in us waters. I'm sure the taxes will add up on each drink if so!

    I just printed mine today. After you go to online checkin and it says completed there's a section to print cruise documents. Click on boarding pass and luggage tags.

     

    On a side note- mine didn't print in color- anyone know if this is a big deal? It says it's ok but idk if would be better in color and more noticeable. Thanks

    This is what my PVP from carnival sent me ...

     

     

    Birth Certificate Information

    The following are acceptable:

     

    * An original Birth Certificate issued by a Government Agency (State/County/City) or the Department of Health and Vital Statistics

    * A copy of a birth certificate issued by a Government Agency (State/County/City) or the Department of Health and Vital Statistics)

     

    * A clear, legible, quality Xerox copy of a birth certificate that was originally issued by a Government Agency (State/County/City) or the Department of Health and Vital Statistics). The Xerox copy does not need to be notarized or certified.

    * Birth Certificate Card

     

    * A Consular report of Birth Abroad

    In Regards to Birth Certificates: Guests may obtain a copy of a birth certificate by contacting: The Department of Health and Vital Statistics at: www.vitalchek.com<http://www.vitalchek.com/>. If the guest has laminated their birth certificate, it is acceptable.

     

    AND

     

    Photo Identification

    A non-expired Government-Issued Photo I.D is required of all guests 16 years of age and older. The following are acceptable:

     

    * Driver’s License

    * Driver’s Permit

    * School/Student I.D (acceptable for guests 16/17/18 years of age)

    If I decide to purchase the Cheers program, say, later in the evening of my first day on the ship, but have already purchased a drink or two prior to purchasing the package, would the drinks that I purchased (prior to the package purchase), be charged individually or would they go on my pkg? Sorry if this has already been answered.

    Pretty sure anything you purchase before you sign up for cheers is separate charges and won't be credited.

    I've read some older posts .. But can anyone give me some up to date confirmations.

     

    We are sailing in October on the fantasy. My boyfriend & I both have the birth certificate laminated card. A PVP we booked thru said this is fine. I want to make sure this is .. And has anyone used this card recently instead of the long form birth certificate?

    There's not a certain option to pay it up front but you can add money on your account online ahead of cruise time to apply it to. This is what I'm doing so I will already have it paid for!

     

     

    How do you add money to your account ahead of time? If this is possible why can't I add my gift cards before I board as well?

     

     

    Is your cruise paid off? If so you can go online on their website and log in and add cruise cash. It adds it to your sign and sail account.

    Thank You for this. I am very new to the CHEERS program specifics and this lays it out perfectly.

     

    My dad & GF are leaving on 9/1/14 and this would probably be best for him. He just has to realize he is not at the VFW buying rounds for the bar with this package. hahaha :p

     

    So this can be pre-purchased before boarding correct?
