That is exactly why we cancelled our cruise. We should be driving to Fort Lauderdale this morning to get on the ship, and I do feel sad about it. Overall, though, I feel relief at having finally made a decision after weeks of agonizing. And I feel happy anticipation at the thought of that same cruise to be taken on May 28, hopefully when cruising is closer to “normal”.I agree with you 100%. We too live in Bradenton and we can drive to any port. The only thing I don't want to risk is being quarantined I would rather not take that chance and just stay at home!.

That is the reason I just cancelled two upcoming cruises.

I just looked on the port Nassau webcam and can see all three departing.

Took my parents on a cruise in 2010 and ordered birth certificates that both had different names and spelling from what they had on drivers license. Had to submit several bills and drivers license copies to get proper birth certificates and then order passports. It was a 6 month process. Good luck!

How was your recent Disney cruise? Good/bad !

It's like the Disney boards are always dead. Very few posts or comments.

Completed online check in 24 hrs ago and it still says pending review. Is this normal with Disney?

You can still get covid after being vaccinated.

I'm fine with the cafe promenade coffee. I like it black. No sugar or creamer so it fine for me!

I wear golf shorts and golf shirt and dockers in the dining room except formal night. I wear a sport coat and tie and slacks on formal night

The kids on Disney are mostly in two places: The kids pool area or the supervised kids programs. On my first Disney Cruise I was expecting to see kids running wild all over the ship, but that is not the case at all.

That would be the "bridge", and even on the NCL ships that had the viewing rooms, the curtains are no longer opened for viewing. Security issues.
How have you been doing Chief? I love reading your posts! Such a wealth of knowledge!
Have a great day!

Is Holland good for kids and teens compared to Royal?

Mine is working fine.

I just purchased the UDP for $189 pp plus gratuities for our March cruise on Odyssey. Can it be used for lunch and dinner on sea days?

People have so many different opinions about vaccinations. I have two adult children that are and one that says no way is she or her kids getting vaccinated!

I am going on the Odyssey in March. At the risk of sounding nosy do you mind telling me how much you bid for your jr. suite? It seems so tempting. I'm just afraid I'll give up my decent balcony view (7532) and get an obstructed view.
We are on the Odyssey on March 12 doing the 8 day!

How was the casino on your Odyssey cruise? Was it crowded and were some of the machines turned off?
-
Did they still blow the horn at sail away?
-
When does your contract end Chris? We will be boarding March 12 for an 8 day southern Caribbean.

Disney told me yesterday that the dining times are staggered. She said like every 15 minutes a few more are allowed in and every table is two top only unless you have a group that is larger than two. I was surprised that we won't have to do a two day covid test like Royal. She said nope, when you get here we will test you.

So I am booked on the Odyssey in the spring and was told by club Royale that the sailing is at capacity, but I wonder what that number is? could it be the ships true capacity by then (March)?

Thanks for the info everyone! We did the Ovation to Alaska pre covid and loved this class ship. This cruise was a tier benefit cruise for my casino play so to do the upgrade from an interior to a balcony guarantee was like $90 so I had to take it. We are going to try eating at Wonderland on this cruise. should be quite an experience!

Has anyone stayed in one of these? Just got my cabin assignment and it has me in 6222 and wondering just how obstructed the view is? Probably a lifeboat just below.

Trying to decide when to book the Dream and looking for info on the most current cruises to see what has changed onboard. Shows and dining mostly!
