I normally only eat breakfast in the MDR as I 1. Hate being rushed. 2. Have gotten sick from both cruise and land-based buffets in the past. I occasionally enjoy a Blue Iguana breakfast burrito if I'm feeling spicy! 🙂 On my Spirit cruise in January, I slept late because I was feeling queasy and went to the buffet because MDR wasn't open. I got a hard-boiled egg, and it was burnt, something I didn't know was possible. It looked fine from the outside, but the egg was actually brown and hard inside. Beats all I've ever seen! Wish I had taken a pic!

I have dined solor several times with no problems.

I remember when they used to have a late-night Mexican buffet. The tortilla chips and cheese sauce were so good!

When I earn the drinks based on points played that cruise, it has only been for me; however, many of my casino offers include "Drinks on Us" for me and a companion while playing in the casino, so we both get the benefit. I sometimes go to the casino early before dinner or a show just to get a drink and take it with me. Or stop on my way after breakfast to get a Bloody Mary. The wait usually isn't very long unless the casino is especially busy.

Can anyone recommend a good food tour in the Bahamas? I'll be sailing solo in January and I'd love to try some local flavor. I will be visiting Bimini, Freeport, Princess Cays, and Nassau. Nassau is the only port I've visited in the past. Thanks!

Escargot, Indian Vegetarian, Lasagna Bolognese, Cheese Plate Things everyone else likes that I do not - WMC, lobster, Guy's Burgers, and the ice cream machine (I know these aren't all MDR, but I'm just saying!)

I hate to hear that. The old Baked Ziti was delicious!

What date are you sailing on the Glory in November? I'll be on the November 12-19 sailing.

Mobile Parking - I was able to prepay online before my Mobile cruise in 2019. It looks like that is still an option. They use your license tag to keep track of who has paid. I didn't have to stand in line and went straight into the terminal after parking.
