We have cruised Asia 4 times, 3 times with Celebrity. Personally I liked Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia over Vietnam. So I would pick Millie, 14 Jan 2025. I like Millie over Solstice for Asia. While Vietnam is nice the tours where long 8 hours or more.

Do you add a text field or do you have a PDF editor?
I use a label marker for last name, then add to printed LT.

Some people report that there is an entry in the computer indicating that you've checked in to a dining establishment.
But ... why?
I did hear that Butlers get an alert when you check in.

When Blu was introduced you could not order from the MDR menu. Over time things have changed. When Celebrity had prime rib on the 1st night in the MDR. We would inform the maitre d at Blu that we would be dining in the MDR to get PR.

Millie, feels like home.
Solstice, glassblowing
Edge, only been on Edge in a sky suite. I dont like the Edge Class, but booked Apex with friends for June 2024. I might have liked the Edge Class better if suites and Retreat were aft and Eden was forward.

What ever happened to Perry?
"After ten years on the Constellation doing consecutive contracts in Jan 2013 i moved to the Celebrity Eclipse entertaining in the huge Sky lounge at the top of the ship and evening theater Headline shows. To fill the Sky lounge to capacity every night was beyond my wildest expectations and again the crowds were unbelievable in their response.
After 11 stella years of it was time for a fresh start and leaving Celebrity in May 2015 I became an independent .Fulfilling contracts for P&O , Saga and an amazing 4 months on the Mega Liner Royal Princess .
At the time of writing ( May 2016 ) I am currently fulfilling a contract for the Number One cruise line and ship in the world ..the Crystal Serenity . It is truly a dream come true to be associated with this prestigious company ."

I never heard that mistake made and it seems odd to me that you or your friends would refer to Sky Lounge or Michaels Club as the Captains Club lounge. The cocktail hours were only for Elite and above members and there was usually someone at the door checking status from5-7. I go way back on Celebrity. I recall when Michaels Club was a cigar lounge then later the piano lounge. None I knew ever called it the Captains Club lounge.
Remember Perry Grant in MC on Connie.

I had heard they only did this on TAs, was this sailing a TA? I like the concept but instead of physical cards loading them onto your sign and sail account would be the way to go
It did start with TA's. Then X decided, if they have over a certain number of Elite and above on any sailing they give out tickets.

On the Edge pre Covid it was held in The Club.
Yes that is where the CC events were held in March 2019 on Edge. The Club has no windows. What a disappointment coming from S-Class Sky Lounge with many windows.

No disrespect meant but this gave me a chuckle. A number of Celebrity ships had their revolutionizing postponed indefinitely due to Covid and someone is concerned about a relatively new Edge class ship being a little worn and torn? Wow. Any ship that has been used for awhile is going to show a little wear, and yes, they always will be doing some maintenance onboard for major issues. But to expect these new ships to get any major cosmetic type maintenance prior to the much older ships is really unrealistic I think.
I was on Millie in Asia a number of years ago. I was in Michaels Club. I sat down and crossed my legs. I started to put my shoe on the corner of the chair seat. 1st thought oh dont do that!!! The corner of the chair was already worn, as others had done the same thing. While I did not put my shoe on the corner. It did make me feel right at home in MC.

Only Canada and the US booked cruises were able to order luggage tags. But that has changed. I cant remember when our last tags were mailed to us. It has to be about a year or more now. I'm thinking Oct 2021.

Of course! But we always fly with carry-on only. Where there's a will, there's a way 🙂
Ask your cabin steward to borrow a corkscrew.
Our last cruise out of LA on Solstice. We brought 5 bottles of tequila back to the ship in PV. Went right through the scanner with no questions asked.

Our whole family has global entry. However, I'm pretty sure it only works for getting into the USA. I don't think it will help at all in Canada.
While I have GE. I dont remember being able to us it at the port of Vancouver. But thing might have changed. One thing you must understand is you have 3 check points before getting on the ship. You have Canadian departures. Next is USA entry as you are going to Alaska. 3rd is Celebrity checkin.

Another question that I should already know the answer to…but….if we have both WiFi minutes based upon our Capt Club category and also have WiFi from the All Included, what minutes get used first?
If you have Wifi with your cabin up to AquaClass you will have unlimited Basic Wifi. Your CC free Wifi will be Premium. If Wifi comes with your suite you will have unlimited Premium.

Only in the photos. They were removed quite awhile ago.
We sailed on the Edge in a sky suite in March 2019 and the rocking chair was gone.

We booked Solstice out of Vancouver BC instead of Edge for Alaska for Sept 2024. Solstice has a better itinerary and the price for our suite was about $2000 less.

I think they were trying to add some exclusivity to the Aqua Suite to justify the upcharge for the same room which was a Sky Suite prior to April!
Celebrity tried Aqua Sky Suites years ago on Reflection. On Reflection, if you have a shower wall in the tub. It had been a Aqua Sky Suite in the past.
Is it possible to claim Captains Club points from previous cruises?

I was able to fix my MIL's missing points. I knew the sailing date and who was in the cabin with her. Somehow my MIL was listed with her middle name as her 1st name.
