Surcharges for drinks in Retreat Lounge
bigbenboys replied to TrueCruiseaholic's topic in Celebrity Cruises
2 years ago at the Retreat Sun Deck on Millie. We did not have to show our Seapass to get drinks. Yes even 2 years is a long time with X. 🤪 What I was trying to get across was that drinks for the most part are free in the Retreat Lounge. At least last Nov they were. May not be free at The Retreat Sun Deck or The Retreat Pool Bar if you dont have a drink package. I dont have 1st hand knowledge as I seem to always have the PDP. -
Surcharges for drinks in Retreat Lounge
bigbenboys replied to TrueCruiseaholic's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We sailing on the Edge back in 2019. When we got drinks at The Retreat Pool Bar. We had to show our Seapass card. We have never needed to show our Seapass card at The Retreat Lounge. -
Surcharges for drinks in Retreat Lounge
bigbenboys replied to TrueCruiseaholic's topic in Celebrity Cruises
It has been my understanding that in general all drinks are free in The Retreat Lounge. There are exceptions, like a shot of Johnnie Walker Blue. Blended drinks could be a problem. It has been in the past. I have traveled with friends in suites that did not have a drink package. Drinks were free at The Retreat, but had to pay for drinks at dinner in Luminae. -
It is my understanding that deck 6 has the smallest balcony. Do not really small.

Celebrity Summit Sky Suite Question/Room Service/Boarding
bigbenboys replied to EntrechatatSea's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We boarded at Canada Place last Sept. As we entered there was a sign for The Retreat. Everything was smooth. It has been years, but I have seen Canada Place boarding to be trying. -
Is there a difference in suite perks?
bigbenboys replied to DevonianCruiser's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I have stayed in the Aqua Sky Suites on Solstice, back when they were just Sky Suites. Other factors to take into considerate. Some of the forward Aqua SS are under the carpeted area. (like 2114 and 2115) Less noise from OVC. Other factor is Sunset Sky Suites on deck 12, you might hear noise from the outdoor area above. Aqua SS are in a great location. Right out to the pool and just one deck up to bring food from the OVC back to your suite. Also 2 of the Sunset Sky Suites have the window washer equipment. I dont remember what deck. Not deck 12. -
I’m Elite Plus but it’s my daughters first cruise
bigbenboys replied to british betty's topic in Celebrity Cruises
It has been a number of years. In the past I have had a non Elite Plus guest in my cabin. We went to the Celebrity Captain's Club desk and had his seapass card changed to show Elite Plus. He was able to join me at any of the Captains Club events. This included the happy hour at the Sky Lounge. -
I had a CS booked for Sept 2024 Alaska 7 night sailing. In my eyes the price was to high. I ask our TA to see what she could do. One conference call with X. We got no where. I got a call the next day from our TA. I dont know who she talked too. In the end we now have our 1st RS booked and saved $3000.

The Aqua Sky Suites are under the carpeted area of the OVC. They were my favorite SS location. I wont spend the extra money for Aqua SS. The further back you go the more issue you may have with noise from above.
-
I have only called the number once. We were in a CS. When I called there were 2 options. One option was for SS. All they can say in no. X does save space for retreat guests.
-
Have you called X? Simply call 1-877-RETREAT, and The Retreat Concierge will assist you with your booking and help plan and arrange every moment of your vacation before you even set sail.

X would not let me reuse my password. It has 1 cap, 2 numbers, and 9 characters. Does X password need to be only 8 characters. -
There is a FEEDBACK button on the right side of X's homepage. Have you left your feedback?

Any Thoughts About Luminae on Constellation?
bigbenboys replied to JDPCruisers's topic in Celebrity Cruises
The 2 things that I like about all M Class ships are that Luminae and Blu were carved out of the MDR. Most of the times this allows you to order off the MDR menu also. The other thing is that most of the suites are located aft deck 6. -
Canada Place, Vancouver BC had a small roped off area with snacks, coffee, and water. We just walked passed and on to the ship. I was more interested in lunch at Luminae.
