So...our souvenirs from Canada keep coming. After sending all of our completed (or so we thought) info, expenses paid, and all of our receipts to our Travel Insurance Company, a new bill arrived the next day. We then paid that one, and sent the receipts to the Insurance Co. Today, another one arrived, this one from the anesthesiologist for the operation. Dear Lord, I sure hope this is the end. I mean, I don't think there could possibly be anything more to charge us for...🤔

My dad's grandmother on his mom's side (Hatfield) was full Cherokee, which made my dad 1/4 Cherokee.

Awesome!!! Do you have a family Historian? I have pages and pages of my family on my mom's side. One of my brother's has been working on my dad's side of the family. I really have to sit down one day and make copies of our family history for our daughters.

My granddaughter has to do an ancestry paper with the dates of her Great Grandparents. I told her I could go back pretty far with some of my ancestors, but it was not needed. After getting off of the phone with her, I looked at my dad's side of the family first...I remember mentioning quite a long time ago on this thread that I am related to the Hatfield's. My dad's Mom was a Hatfield. I can go back to my GGG Grandfather, Ale Alexander Hatfield, who was born in 1778 in Washington County, Va. My mom's family was (and some still there) from Amorbach, Miltenberg, Bavaria, Germany. My Grandfather and his siblings were born on Staten Island, I was 3rd generation Staten Islander, and 3 of my grandchildren are 5th generation Staten Islanders.
