I went 7 pages in and I didn't read anything mentioned about this beach. Can anyone tell me about this beach?
Is this the beach where the planes fly over your head? Any information would be great.
Thanks :D

So, is the pool on the private island or the main one? Thanks

Day passes
in Aruba
Renaissance day pass is now $99 per personFWIW, the resort is less than a quarter mile away. The private island itself may be 2 miles away, but you need a boat to get there. Transfer by boat is included with the price of the day pass. The boat will pick you up right inside the lobby of the Renaissance Marina Tower lobby where you would purchase the pass at the front desk. :D
Hi Arubalisa!
Can you clarify what FWIW means?
Is the renaissance hotel the only one that takes you to the private Island 2 miles away or does it belong to all the hotels. Is that island worth the trip?
Nevermind I saw your 411 link :)
Thanks for all your help

In the past it has included one beverage with lunch and use of all of the amenities on the private island. There is no pool on the private island and did not include use of other resort amenities off of the island.
If you require use of a swimming pool I would look at a day pass for the Riu or Occidental if they are indeed still offered or Reflextions Beach Bar and Restarant at Surfside Beach.
Wait, this hotel owns a private island and the day pass includes transport to and from?
I didn't know they had a private island, am I reading this right?

http://www.**********/general_usvi/interisland_ferry/#St. John Passenger Ferry: Red Hook to Cruz Bay
Here is one of the sites that has the ferry schedule (thanks to Islander). You can keep checking before you leave. Also, try googling "St. Thomas Ferry Schedule" for other sites.
Hope this helps.

Hello Mary Ellen, you're welcome.
Do note that the Charlotte Amalie to St. John ferry isn't running right now, as of yesterday they weren't sure when it would be up again. So if you were considering using that ferry then check back closer to Thanksgiving to see what is up with it. The Red Hook one is running its regular schedule. Also the rates for both go up this week, Red Hook will be $6 ow for adults. And Charlotte Amalie $12 ow for adults.

Is a land base tour worth it on Aruba
in Aruba
Posted
Aruba seems to look a little blah (except for the beaches of course) would it be worth it for us to take a land based tour or should we just stick to a beach?
What are some things that I shouldn't miss while on aruba if I do decide to take a tour? Thanks mucho!
