  1. Yes that is the number I am referring to. No matter which board I am in it is always 035.
  2. What is the 035 number in the picture? I haven’t noticed it being there until today.
  3. The buyer could always check with P&O to make sure it is legit. If it is allowed CC would be a good place to sell it as everyone here likes to cruise.
  4. Last time we were there we walked around town. Found a bar/restaurant. I was hoping we missed something amazing
  5. We are booking a private tour in Agadir and the tour guide wants to meet up at Hotel Al Maggor. I see where it is on the map - about a 20 minute walk from the port. However, I’m seeing that a commercial port is used there and walking may not be allowed. I’ve also seen where there is a port shuttle offered that will drop you in town, but I am unable to find where it drops you. Anyone know where the shuttle goes to? Has anyone taken the shuttle?
  6. I have as well as other travel sites. I am hoping to get first hand experience from people visiting by cruise ship.
  7. Last time we were in Parintins we walked around town and saw the Boi Bumba show. Beautiful show and I’m glad we did it. But, we are returning and I am wondering if anyone has found something to do there other than the show. Maybe out of town?
  8. We’ve never taken that train but sounds like it might be interesting way to get out of Casablanca. Hope you get some answers from those that have done it.
  9. From what I’ve seen that doesn’t really work until you are on board
  10. From my experiences much of the content isn’t there until you are on board. However, shore excursions are available for booking for your next cruise way before that.
  11. I just found out to get on a waitlist apparently the website is the only way. That option wasn’t available to me on the app. of course I can always book on the website and a I’ve done that for the 2nd and 3rd cruises. I was hoping someone had found a way to see different cruise’s shore excursions on the app.
  12. We currently have 3 cruises booked with HAL. When booking excursions through the app I can only access excursions for the 1st cruise. Has anyone figured out how to access excursions for the subsequent two cruises in the app? I know how to access them through the web page.
  13. I agree. We are currently on a land trip. A month in Acapulco, Mexico (same weather as Caribbean) followed by a wedding in Orlando then flying back home on Spirit. We are traveling with one personal item each…a backpack that meets Spirit’s requirements so no extra charges. FYI….family that is driving to the wedding is bringing his suit, my dress and both our shoes for the wedding.
  14. Thanks for the link to Trip Advisor. Temps 30-34C sound a little high for walking especially when humidity is added.
  15. That is what I assumed….picking up those who did a shore excursion. We have been through the entire canal on 2019 Grand South America and will go through again on 2024 Grand World. Not sure any excursion will be worth doing for us. I’ll check them out though.
  16. We are stopping in Colon 5pm to 9pm. Is that enough time to do anything?
  17. Google shows a 53 minute walk from the Cartagena cruise terminal to Old City and it looks like there are a few things to see and places to stop for a cold beverage along the way. Has anyone actually done this walk or is familiar enough with the area to comment on how doable it is?
  18. We’ve been on a stop in Macapa but no one was allowed off the ship. It is typically an inspection port going into the Amazon. I’ve seen online though that Macapa is starting to welcome visitors. Wondering if anyone has been on a cruise and had a port day in Macapa?
  19. I used to never use a TA. Then before covid I found a long cruise we wanted and did a google search for the cruise. Then I contacted 10 of the travel agents/companies that popped up and asked for their best quote with perks included. I chose the one with the best quote/perks that was also very easy to deal with and most responsive to questions. I’ve used her for several cruises now and the 4 cruises that were cancelled during covid. Very happy with her.
  20. I agree. But if you want a more laid back day, Jack’s is a good place to hang out. Lots of crew has been there both times we gone and there is usually a volleyball game.
  21. Thanks for the info. Definitely plan to return for a multi day safari one day including a balloon flight over migration. The cruise is our intro to Africa….(well Morocco will be a repeat…spent a week and a half there a few years ago). Anyway, we want to experience a short safari or two on this trip to see some animals and Aquila is one we are considering. We will definitely see Table Mountain and Cape Point/Cape of Good Hope, Boulder Beach to see the penguins, Chapmans Peak Drive. Thinking of possibly a hike between Cape Point and Cape of good Hope. At this point I don’t know if we can do all that in one day. We aren’t into seeing buildings and gardens unless they are something really special.
  22. Has anyone done a day trip to Aquila game preserve while docked in Cape Town? I’m looking at options for the 2 days we have there this fall on a cruise ship and thinking Aquila might be fun. I’m wondering if it feels like a zoo…..do you see the fences?
  23. FYI: Kathi updated her blog again yesterday
  24. Thanks. I had read this yesterday after I posted my question here, but I appreciate you looking it up and sharing it.
