  1. Hello, I’m relatively new to sailing on Celebrity and will be on the Apex in April 2024. How does dining work? I see four main dining rooms. Do you choose your restaurants prior to boarding for each night and make a reservation or ???  We have a Concierge class stateroom and are currently Elite status. TIA for any insight and details!

We booked our Anthem cruise later than usual. I was able to book show reservations but North Star And I Fly are not available, and it says to book onboard. Might North Star (what I’m interested in) become available online once again or have I lost the window of opportunity? Where would I go to book once onboard? I have been on Anthem so do have some familiarity.

There were 5 of us who sailed the Anthem. One had reserved a time on the North Star before the cruise. Once onboard we all decided to do it and we got a reservation without a problem. She had to change her day/time so we could all ride together, but it wasn't a problem once onboard. I didn't make the arrangements so I can't tell you where to go once onboard.

Great picture of you guys! Really enjoying your comments and pictures along the way. You gave me some great ideas when we visit Seattle too. If you can share any info on the Solarium Bistro that would be appreciated, i.e., is it complimentary or like Fish and Ship's - half complimentary and half fee, is it open for all meals, does look busy(is it any good)!!  TIA and hoping Marie is feeling better today.

Agree on the NYC taxi (although they are required to take you to EWR) but Uber/Lyft operate just as normal between states. In this case Uber is slightly less expensive than Carmel (based on fare estimates from both companies) when you factor in tolls and I would argue that the Uber will be easier to get to quickly with all the construction around LGA right now. Instead of waiting for the one car thats designated for you like Carmel they will send the car thats closest.

    Thanks, I appreciate it.

Most sidewalks are made of something called fliser.

When I translate it, it becomes tiles instead, does that sound right?

Anyway, fliser is some of stones carved into square pieces some 50x50 centimeters or something like that.

So its very flat and very easy to walk on.

You can walk into cobblestones in driveways etc but not that many places.

Great! Thank you for that detail.

My best guess would be København H (Central station) but I wouldn't rule out Nørreport either.

Hello Danish Viking, I received confirmation that the tour will end at Central station. According to Google Maps our hotel is an 9-11 minute walk and the distance is .8 km/.5 mi from the train station.  I'm wondering how easy it will be to pull our luggage.  Specifically, if the sidewalks are smooth or are they cobblestone?  I don't want to pull my luggage across cobblestone sidewalks.
