  1. Emailed Blexie last wk re June 25 tour. Waiting patiently, but how long to wait before I check out another old car tour co. Wk 10 days ?

We have a tour booked with him on June 19th and it did take him a few days to respond but very accommodating to our requests. Can't wait!!

  2. I wear a sundress every night to the main dining room and a nicer dress to all the specialty restaurants. My girls all do the same and my boys and husband dress shorts and collar shirt to main dining room and dress slacks with collar shirt to speciality restaurants.

  3. Do we need to purchase the visa ahead of time or can it be purchased at check in?

I believe it has to be purchased ahead of time, as I was told that the form needs to be electronically sent through their website at least 3 days before sailing. We just added the Visas on our cruise ($75.00) price and they said they would be waiting for us at check-in.

  4. I was also curious on the prices of stuff like food, drinks (beer & mixed)? Most of the reviews I have read state that the most of the museums are for donations?

  5. My two youngest (13 &16) have been on the Escape twice and LOVED it! We also tend to go for the larger ships since there is more for them to do, especially since mine have never been the type to go to the kids programs.

  6. Just off a couple of weeks ago and this time had "The Company Men" as well. I really enjoyed the singing group, but my husband not so much. If you are into the 80's films, for the Record is great! Howl at the moon and the comedians are a lot of fun!

  7. Thanks everyone for your help on this very important matter [emoji481]

My husband also feels this is a very important matter as well;) The last 3 cruises on NCL, we have been on the Escape so he has been a bit spoiled with the District!

  8. We were huge Carnival fans until we sailed on the Escape and WOW, now we are hooked! We are going on the Escape in a couple of weeks for the 3rd time! Being Platinum on Carnival, I still would like to try their new ships and every time compare the two when booking another cruise and NCL always comes out on top! We also love the UBP (huge seller since Carnivals is soo expensive), the free dining perks and the brewery on the Escape is one of our favorite places;) Some other favorites of ours on NCL compared to Carnival is the entertainment is so much better, the Escapes "Howl at the Moon" is one of or favorites at night and we really prefer the food to Carnivals (though do miss the Guys burgers)! Though in the end, we feel ANY cruise is a great cruise!!

  9. We always cruise during the kids "Fall break", which happens to be the same week of our youngest child (13). I always try to make it special and bring my own decorations for the room and sneak back after breakfast to decorate. This last cruise a few weeks ago, the room steward made her a very special "Towel Cake" all decorated with flowers. At Food Republic, they gave her a special dessert and in the dining room a special little Happy Birthday cake to share with the table. Other years we had ordered cakes and had them delivered wither to the room or the dining room for special occasions as well.
