where do you recommend to catch a water taxi at Vicky? Whats the cost? Do they charge for small kids (2 and 3 yr olds)?
-
there is a small electronics store right inside the cruise ship village that has CHEAP wifi. its not free but its cheap and its actually good wifi for video calls and downloads.

capt marvins has a stingray and one snorkel stop tour...its about a 30 min stop. its a great tour and a good time. they dont go out of the way for the snorkel stop so it doesnt add more time to your tour other than the 30 mins they stop to let people swim. Even if you dont want to snorkel its still a nice chance to take a dip in the crystal clear waters.

i did both while on a carnival ship with captain marvins. Personally...hell and turtle farm wasnt worth the added time and cost in my opinion. Stingray city is the spot to go see! take a tour with capt marvins that offers snorkeling and stingrays and you are sure to have a great time in GC.

took my 3.5 year old to stingray city and he LOVED it....wont stop talking about the "big fishies" he seen. He is wanting to go back again on the next trip

thousands of posts outlining details of various beaches but to make it short and simple....city bus, 7 mile beach.

Personally...I dont even get off the ship with my kids when I port in Jamaica. It just doesnt feel like a safe place to me. I prefer to spend that day on the ship with the pool nearly to ourselves. Nachi on the other hand, great choice. My 4 year old loves it there. Just bring some water/sand toys and pair that with the unlimited smoothies from the bar and he will be entertained all day.

Its a chill spot but by no means would I consider this place a "beach" resort where you can go and lay out and enjoy a full day here. MB is a spot where a lot of crew go to hang out because its close to the ship. Try your luck with Nachi Cocom. I have been to NC dozens of times and love that place for my beach day in Coz
-
Once at Nachi...no problem. Get him pool side and he will be good to go. You didnt say which ship you were coming in on/what pier? If you are at the Punta Langosta pier then its a bit of a walk to the taxi stand. The end of the day walk back to the ship is rough for me and im in my late 30s in decent shape lol.

So is this free data and phone service only on the unlimited plan?

Been to numerous different AI resorts in Coz and have never had any issues. 9 out of 10 times im there with my wife. People tend to over drink at these AI...I mean, they pay 50 bucks and figure they want to get their moneys worth lol.

I think this may be in the wrong forum lol. Want another perspective.... DISNEY is the only ship to sail on lol.
-
He will be fine. You will be sitting on a tube floating. No low clearance caves while floating.
-
Sounds like Myetts is where we will go. Thank you

If you haven't been to GC I would suggest checking into stingray city and snorkel combo tours. No trip to GC is complete without a trip to snorkel and swim with the rays.

Enjoy. I am sure you will have a great time regardless who's boat you get out on. A day in Grand Cayman will always be better than a day at work! :D

How far is CGB from the cruise docks? (Disney) I have been to the port of Tortola many times but have never ventured out anywhere. I will be there in less than 2 weeks and am thinking of trying one of the beaches. I will have my 2 young boys (2 and 4) with me so ease of getting there is a must.
-
La Casa en la Playa is more than twice the cost per person of Nachi Cocom too. I have done both and while I like both and would highly recommend either if they were the same price....for the cost, my 2 cents is Nachi Cocom.
-
Money bar is a crew favorite...at least on the Disney ships.
-
Now thats pretty crazy! Been to this port and many pools and have never heard of this.
-
When you are in the port...there is a sign at the taxi area that will show you rates to go to different beaches/parts of the island. Its pretty straight forward and all prices are set. I check the prices before I get in...when I am dropped off I hand the cab driver the fare plus a tip and dont even talk price with the driver.

I have been on numerous boats that Marvins runs. Some are nicer than others and of course certain dates are less crowded than others. I have been on their boats with less than 10 and I have been on their boats with approx 30. Of course less is best but for $40 per adult...as long as I have a seat I am good.
-
Why not use Captain Marvins or one of the other bigger tour companies? The cost for capt Marvins cost is $40 per adult. Free under 4 yrs. Have used them many times and it has always been great.

Anyone know if Nachi rents jet skis? I know a few years ago I seen some there but the last few times I have been there I didnt see any. Or option B, anyone know of an outfit that will bring them to Nachi beach to rent for an hour?

Anyone know of any other boat rental outfits in SM that rent small power boats. I dont want a charter or tour..just want to rent a 15-25' boat for my family to go out and explore on our own for 3-4 hours. Boathouse was the go to but they are closed currently because or Irma.
