  1. I wasn’t speaking about someone who is given a free upgrade. I was responding to Mowogo’s post. IF someone pays for an Aurea experience room their room will not be a room in the Bella category. It will be in a better location/category.
  2. It’s 4 devices only. You cannot change between phones and laptops or tablets. Once you sign in on a device that is considered 1 device for the duration of the cruise. It is less expensive to book it before boarding.
  3. I don’t believe that is correct info Yes Aurea is an experience you book and pay for just as Bella and Fantastica are. However, if you pay for Aurea you will not have a room in the same category as someone who pays for Bella or Fantastica. Aurea rooms are in a better location just as Fantastica rooms are in a better location than Bella.
  4. I received my boarding pass/docs 29 days before our cruise. It’s MSC so nothing surprises me anymore.
  5. You’re fine then. Unless MSC changes their policy in the next 8 days you won’t need a test. Keep checking their website for the latest updates. Have a great cruise!
  6. When you go into your booking and try to edit your web check in go to the last page and there should be an option to email the docs to yourself. Does that option show up for you?
  7. You can pre order bottles of wine for your stateroom but that’s about it.
  8. Are you going to Colon? If not then you don’t need to test. If so then you do need a test.
  9. I sail in a couple of weeks so I’ll report back if it’s possible and how much it costs.
  10. I’m sailing 12/30 on Divina and they sent my edocs including the boarding passes on Dec 1. I was surprised to get them so early. Be sure all of your information is complete with a green check mark next to it on their website. If that’s the case call and they will email them to you.
  11. Agree! We were on one of the first cruises to Coco Cay and we loved it. They’ve completely ruined it since then.
  12. Amen to that! That is exactly why we love OC. Some of the other cruise line’s private islands have turned into amusement parks. I don’t get it. The beaches are beautiful the water is so clear and inviting not sure why people need a water park when the natural beauty far outshines any kind of water slide.
  13. I hope your dad makes a full recovery. I’m happy to hear they let you change dates.
  14. I asked a rep on the phone about this because we would like to do it too, she said we cannot do it until we board. Not sure that’s true but I’ve looked on my reservation and don’t see the option either.
  15. That sounds amazing! One of these days we’ll be on the same cruise!
  16. You would think the YC would have its own laundry area but maybe not?
  17. That’s promising. Was that in the Yacht Club? We had a bad experience on Norwegian Pearl in April with their laundry service. The laundry was returned in the same brown bag that we gave it to them in and looked like a 2 yr old folded it. Fortunately it was only our little grandson’s t-shirts and shorts.
  18. We did book the 20 item laundry package for our upcoming cruise but plan to only use it for t-shirts and things like that, just to get us through the second week. We always fly in a day or two before cruising so I press the things that need it at the hotel before boarding and hang them in a garment bag that we carry on the ship. Works out great, we just transfer those items (already on hangers) to the closet in our room. I pack the garment bag and light metal “dry cleaner type” hangers in our checked baggage for the flight.
  19. We’re leaving 12/30 on Divina and our boarding time went from 11:30 am to 3pm to some weird time like 12:18 pm and now it’s 11:30am again which is good because we already got our docs so I quickly printed them out before they change the time again lol YC can show up whenever.
  20. If you have the all in drinks and WiFi your package will cover the WiFi on Ocean Cay. You may have to sign out on the ship and sign in again on OC. Then vice versa when you go back on board.
  21. You’re very welcome! We’re excited too, it certainly sounds like it will be a very special celebration! We may have to nap during the day so we can stay up late and enjoy everything! lol This will be our 3rd cruise on Divina. We love the ship it’s our favorite of any line we’ve been on. I think you’ll have a great time too! If you see us around the ship please say hi! Deb (& my husband John) that’s us in my profile picture! 😊
  22. Our first MSC cruise we booked a Fantastica balcony and we were given a free upgrade to a Yacht Club balcony. We received all of the YC benefits even though our paperwork still said that our experience was Fantastica. I believe you will receive the Aurea benefits. MSC seems to do this in the hope that we will book the higher experience in the future. When do you cruise? Please let us know if in fact you get all of the Aurea perks! Enjoy!

  24. I’ll be on the 12/30th sailing also but for 14 nights Saw this from MSC describing a little bit about Christmas and New Years on board. https://www.msccruises.com/en-gl/MSC-Voyagers-Club/Newsletter/MSC-Newletter-Christmas-At-Sea.aspx?fbclid=IwAR3jEE72Q46y2gJJLD_bQK_blaYdlB9KL-S3g2hbxSwC-YAsTLzC6CHV8YQ
  25. Thanks Pat! You’re so right about tour guides. The description of the tour you took sounds like the walking tour that is offered. It’s a good thing you guys were there to help the older folks! Definitely something I would do also, we’d get along fine! I love the pictures, especially the colorful umbrellas above your head! What a great picture of you!! Thanks for sharing! Do you have another cruise booked?
