I emailed HAL last Friday for our August cruise and this was the response:

Thank you for contacting Holland America Line in regards to your Carnival Shareholder benefit.

Unfortunately, we are unable to apply the ship board credit to your reservation XXXXX  due to the Carnival shareholder program is currently valid on voyages thru July 2023. Please resubmit your CCL proof in April 2023 when we anticipate the extension of the Carnival shareholder benefit.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. We are looking forward to welcoming you on board in the near future.

Hate to disagree but that was not the case on our very recent cruise on the Oosterdam.  We just returned home 4 days ago and the prepaid price was $7/ day vs the onboard price of $9/day.  See post #16 and #19.

No, your status changes at the end of the cruise. I believe a B2B is different

We just boarded the Oosterdam for 22 day S/A and Antarctica.  I purchased the unlimited laundry for $7 day in advance.  The form in the cabin shows $9 day if you wait until you board

we received the Club Orange bag today on the Oosterdam, one of the few things that went right.

Thanks everyone!  We have been looking forward to this cruise for a long time.

Does anyone know the cost to upgrade (per person) from the HIA surf to Premium on a 22 day cruise??

The taxi line was a mess this morning but our Uber arrived in 5 minutes.  Not sure why more people didn't use Uber or Lyft.

Update:  Well the call just went dead at the 4 hour mark.  Will try an email to Gus now.

Todays attempt to contact FE is a bust.  Called at 1000 and recording stated less than one hour wait.  Now approaching 2 hours of listening to the annoying music track.  Does anyone have a better phone number than 1-800-628-4771 to call?  I will try again much earlier tomorrow.

Thanks for the replies.  Last week I called the air department and they told me to call Lufthansa direct for the seats.  After waiting for another 45 minutes Lufthansa told me that HAL had to issue the tickets first.  That was the reason for the followup call today.  I will try to call Flight Ease when they open in the morning. 

I tried to contact the air department earlier today and received the recording that my "wait time is more than 6 hours".  Since they close at 6pm I guess they are correct.  Our 18 day Viking Passage is only 45 days out and I would like to find out my seat numbers..

I was going to wait and see before the final payment is due in 3 weeks but I'll be canceling our HAL Baltic cruise tomorrow.  It was going to be our first Back to Back cruise but we will stay with the TA from Copenhagen to Boston instead.

The garage is across the street from the terminal.   $15 per day.
