This is good news for some in my traveling party next Spring Break. We can all get off in Grand Turk, if this is the case. Yay.

I don't brag about the rates I get from the casino. I'm also a shareholder and I've never submitted for the OBC. You have to remember that the casino rates are given to those that have a record of spending money in the casino. That means my free or reduced rate cabin costs me much more than what someone that paid the regular rate for it. If I didn't give them thousands of dollars a cruise in the casino, they wouldn't give me a reduced rate. I cruise and I gamble. Those are my hobbies. I save up and I spend it in the casino. Last week on my 5 day cruise I got a free room, drinks all over the ship and some free play. My bill at the end of the week could have bought me two or 3 cabins at full price. It's all about the money. A $50 OBC to someone that's definitely going to pay for it and then some is a nice gesture. But again, I've never submitted for it so I'm not complaining about not getting it.

I get my win/loss statement every year and so far no but I'm no quitter. 😉

We were in an Ocean Suite last week on the Sunshine and suite guests could go to their room immediately. We're also Platinum. If it's not a VIFP thing then is was the suite.

I took my "free" cruise last week on a casino promotion. Carnival made gangbusters money off of me. The $50 benefit is nothing to them but it would be a nice gesture to me. Entitled is a strong word. The casino gets that $50 back from me exponentially. I'm a shareholder and haven't ever put in for the benefit. I always forget.

Hi there. The Mardi Gras Presidential suite has capacity for 5. Where does everyone sleep? Two in the king bed, 2 on the double sofa bed and the 5th person sleeps where? The balcony? 😉

I'm sailing on the Sunshine next Monday! I'm sorry for the family. That's a tragic loss.

I got it too because we're sailing on March 13. I've never gotten something like this before but I guess it's a good reminder for some.

I had Delta covid a year ago and this new variant 2 weeks ago. Not vaccinated. Never hospitalized. I'm only pointing out that being vaccinated doesn't guarantee you won't be hospitalized just as not being vaccinated means you will. I'm glad NCL has taken this step. Covid will never go away. This is a new virus we'll have to deal with. The current variant seems to be quite harmless to most. That's probably the best we can hope for.

A member suggested that I "sticky" a thread dedicated to the NCL Mastercard. Great idea! Please post all the facts you have on the card and the program and answer as many of those FAQ's that you've seen here on the board. You can even link to other threads on Cruise Critic if needed. Let's try to make this thread "Just The Facts" so members can get the information without having to search through pages of posts. Thanks!
