Hi P,
We had initially booked a concierge level on our upcoming cruise. However, after several discussions among ourselves and our TA, we dropped down one level and saved $400 pp.

Enter "100 canadian = USD" in the search box on your browser.

Excellent idea, Lady M.

Hey fm,
If the ship is well maintained, "age cannot wither her nor custom stale her infinite variety".

Hi toad,
You might wish to take a look at De Librije as well

>We also now have an annual medevac policy, .....
We have the type that will transfer us (air ambulance/etc. if needed) from inpatient status anyplace at least 150 miles from home, to ANY hospital of our choice, anywhere.<
Not all insurance policies are this generous.
Make sure to read the fine print before purchasing .

> remove other passengers wet laundry from the dryers, put theirs in, use up the tokens to those who left their laundry drying in the dryers, ...<
That is really beyond rude.
Down here in GA, where we are allowed to pack heat wherever and whenever, that would get you into trouble.

Hi OPG,
I also suggest booking a higher category cabin on the Prinsendam.
We loved her.

Hi dd,

That's because it was too perfect. :)

>"why did you remove my clothes from the washer/dryer"<
For the same reason that I took the towel of the lounge chair. You weren't using it and there were no others available.

Hey WB,
>... I was talking about how things have evolved over more than a century, right?<
Old New Yorker cartoon:
3 decidedly upper crust about English gentlemen in full soup and fish around a table with candlesticks, wine glasses, etc, while outside, seated on a log in shorts and a bush jacket is another, eating from a tin plate.
"Too bad about that tiger eating Featherstonehaugh's** dinner attire".

Hi All,
My Lady Wife and I have a serious delimma. :)
For August 2015 there are two cruises visiting the Baltic (Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, St Petersburg...) with nearly identical itineraries and at almost the same price (+/- $200).
I have reserved an aft-facing cabin (7074) on the Rotterdam.
I shall have my choice of cabins on the NeoRomantica:
6077 – 6088, 7105 – 7110, 1007 – 1015, 1220 – 1223.
Am I correct that the 6000 series cabins on the nR are the same as the others in layout, furnishing, etc?
We are fairly active seniors (median age 75) who like good food and drink; prefer anytime dining, but can go along with fixed seating; enjoy a show; speak English very well - not so good with other languages; not particularly competitive. (Well, at least if I take my meds every day.)
It will be a major b'day for my LW.
Which ship would you recommend we take?
I'll be happy to give further information about our likes/dislikes if needed.
Thank you for your help.
Ira
I'll be posting this on the HAL board as well.

Hey MB,
I can understand your being peeved.
However, you weren't out any money as you used OBC.
OTOH, you could have bought something else with the OBC.
Paying you for the OBC is a good gesture.

Hi da,
On our cruise on the Prinsendam, we were more than happy that we paid the extra for 4 dinners in the PG.
Think of it as dining out in a good local resto vs a special occasion.
