  1. Hi Briana, omg I think I spelled your name wrong which is strange as I just read all 37 pages, , loved your notes about the boat and the ports, can I ask about tendering> I have a wheelchair that I use for distances d/t a back injury, of course it folds it is a manual one, will it be hard for me to get on the tender? And the big question !!!, I cant tolerate smoke how bad was it ? We loved the Glory but all of the fun things were held in places that were smoking .. thanks in advance and thanks for your time and the great photos !

  2. Seriously thanks for being such a nice guy. I am a nurse for over 25 years, hence the back injury, thanks for the info- I will miss Guys Burgers, the fries were also to die for- I am lucky and have family who can plow the way, I can definitely walk on and off I can go anywhere for 10 to 15 minutes but the the discs swell and I can not walk , get foot drop and back spasms , so I can get on and off , will wait in the wheelchair for a long line and I should be fine, the same thing I did on the Glory when people would run me over if I were in the w/c, thanks for the info and u write one hell of a review :):)

  3. Really ! I am trying to be fair, if half of the nite clubs dance events were non smoking and I can not hold my breathe the entire length of the casino to get from one place to another...I even tried the casino I went so early in the am hoped I could fine a non smokey little space , LOL of course a lovely older woman saddled on up w her walker, her portable ashtray which she popped down on the chair she dragged over as a drink and ashtray holder , and chain smoked one after another , mind u literally the entire room was virtually empty I need a sign please don't smoke here for 10 minutes please I ended up fleeing the spot....That's all I ask ...well from the other messages on the boards in other threads , life is a gamble and u can't get want u want, so I guess it's just go and shut up...but I can't help myself

  4. Okay. I'm ready for the onslaught. Dear God Carnival , I just read smoking is allowed in all dance clubs, God help me. So I can't go there , all the boards have commented about the interesting boat layout so I have to go thru smoke filled areas to easley navigate , last year on the Glory I had a great time but missed so much .... How difficult would it really be to go and smoke out the side of the boat where is is allowed and have at least 1 dance club non smoking... I have already resigned myself to no balcony but it would be nice to be able to enjoy the boat, and no don't refer me to a more restrictive cruise line, I want affordable just like everyone else..can't it be 50/50 no smoking in major transit spaces.....I have many friends who do smoke, they have no problem going to a different area, not one of them would have a problem with restrictions okay flame away I am ready

  5. :)Great pictures, your family vacation looked great,my I seek some help? I am having to use a w/c for long distances d/t back injury. I have been on the Glory 2 times and sometimes I was ran over, not kidding, by other passengers, no kidding, and let's not mention the elevators , very little kindness I ending up taking off 1 leg rest, walking the wheelchair as far as I could sit for a while until the back spasm ended get up and walk a bit more, or else people would run me down, particularly at buffets, Made me very sad:(, how do u think I will do on the Splendor ,and can my w/c go off the boat if we have to talk a boat to get off? Going Oct 16 2014, I eat at buffets at off times and try not to leave the ship, but your review made it sound like so much fun, do you think I can go off in Nassau and Bahmas, it will take forever to even get down the gangplank if I was run over like before. Thanks again

  7. So glad I read your reviews, will be my first cruise Thursday and I had many questions answered, I guess Id better bring some white noise for the nieghbors, good news is we have 2 connecting rooms, no balacony to avoid smokers, can only hope for no drunks, screaming children, or fights, but it is only a short cruise, what can possibly go wrong...ha ha. I will go thru internet/cell phone withdrawal I hear the prices are crazy... is that true ? How will I live without my 100 emails a day of someone tyring to sell me something... last question.. are tips automatically placed on your room charge the last day and if so how much per person ? Thanks again, enjoyed ALL of the pages, and I read them ALL !!!!:)
