  1. I just did this with two other parties (family). Its nice to be able to book our excursions and dining together. I am also going to check us all in so we can board together.
  2. My brother and I have linked reservations. We calledl to link our reservations for cruise planner, entertainment, and check-in. Is there another way to do this? We had to both be on the phone to give our permission to a RC representative. It took 3 calls for RC to get it right. Now we are trying to add my inlaws to our linked reservation. I'm hoping my brother and I, AND our inlaws don't have to call. Is there another way to do this without calling? Thanks in advance.
  3. Just reading this thread with the show bookings opening around the 1st of month, the month prior to a cruise. We are sailing August 27th so it’s entirely possibly entertainment will be available to reserve before we even do our cruise check in (July 13). Do I have that right? Or would we have to check in first before we can reserve any shows?
  4. My understanding is to make a reservation for imuzi hibachi, you have to head to izumis. The other specialty restaurants don't take reservations for them correct? I was also told that a lot of izumi hibachi is often times sold out by the time you get on board. I was told a workaround was to just make a specialty dining reservation through the app and when you get on board have them convert it to the 3 night dining specialty package. You don't get your money back, but it's applied as on board credit I hope this information is correct. It's what I did. I made the reservation and I plan on getting it changed so it's covered under my 3 night dining plan. I didn't want to take a chance on it being sold out on board.
  5. Thank you both! Biker, I see it now in the app. Under American Icon Grill, it lists 5:00-5:15 as early and 7:45-8:00 as late. As for 1 1/2 to 2 hours for the hibachi experience, thanks for that too!
  6. I have early dining on my cruise on Allure of the Seas later this year. I can't seem to find what time the dinner is. Does anyone know know? Also, side question...how long does Izumi Hibachi dinner usually take? Trying to book an online time and plan shows too. Thanks!
  7. I agree. Going to speciality dining on this night.
  8. yes they seem the same. Thank you for confirming!
  9. is the Hibachi lunch and dinner the same experience? They seem to have the same menu.
  10. Wow never thought to do that LOL are you saying booking on board will almost guarantee no availability?
  11. I have a 3 night dining package and I am planning on making a reservation at Izumi for Hibachi as soon as we board. I know it's one of the harder ones to get a reservation for due to limited seating. I am wondering how difficult it is to book it on board? I am wondering if I need to try and book it ahead of time. Thanks in advance!
  12. Is that most people's experience? My goal is to book it to izmus to make a reservation for hibachi as soon as we board. Is it usually already booked by the time you get on board? I see it in my cruise planner but i was planning to use it as part of my 3 night dining package
  13. Are you able to get a bottle of wine from a bar?
  14. I am not sure you can get a bottle of wine from the MDR and take it with you. I do not believe you can get a bottle of wine at a bar. I could be wrong though. Maybe someone else will chime in on this.
  15. We will be going to Sambas on Allure in a few months. Our first experience and we can't wait!
  16. OH OH OH....i thought we were talking about Allure in Galveston. Yes, I am aware other ships have check-ins at 10:30. Allure is the first one I knew of with a 11am check in time.
  17. I loved the band mainly for getting in and out of the room. It seems my hands were full. Bringing back food, bringing back coffee for my wife and I. I don't think it's worth $10 though. Most cruises, I lay the cup on the rail to open the cabin door or on the floor while I quickly use my card to get in.
  18. I was told a couple of times the earliest time is now 11am. I believe I even saw a thread about it? I can't say for sure. I remember they booked at 12:00am or shortly after.
  19. Thank you. I didn’t realize I could see them before the cruise!
  20. Off topic a bit but I saw discussion about the app being updated with menus. How far before sailing are the dining menus available for your cruise?
  21. Hi there...I know there are on board discounts, usually on port days. I am wondering if anyone can recall on board discounts for couples massages? I know there are individual discounts. Also, I am a diamond member and I believe there is a 10 or 20% discount. Do you get diamond discounts in the cruise planner or only on board? I cannot tell if the price in my cruise planner is a decent one: $230 for 50 min stone massage for couples or $125 for a 50 min deep tissue massage. I am wondering if the best discounts will just be on board vs the app and if anyone recalls couple massage discounts or deals on board too. Thanks in advance!
  22. Yes, we ordered Chops lunch (4 of us) and we ordered a few appetizers and they brought out every side they had for us. Very good!
  23. Thank you for your review. We are cruising in a few months, and I cannot wait. You mentioned it in your first post, but just double checking....is 11am the first available time to choose for boarding time check-in? Just wondering when it is our turn to do that.
  24. Hoping you don't mind reporting back if it worked. Good luck!
