We are on the Carnival Spirit in August, flying with Southwest and was able to pre-book Port Valet for our return to Las Vegas. Alaska Air is listed as a participating airline.
I would go online here Port Valet (maketraveleasier.com) and try to book it in advance.

We will be on the June 27th Radiance and will be enjoying the steakhouse on the first evening. The deal includes a free bottle of house wine, or 50% anything from the wine list. We have three people in our party, my wife and I and my sister-in-law (single supplement).
My understanding is we get one free bottle per table. Has anybody in a similar situation (two cabins) been able to get two bottles? Has anybody applied the 50% discount to multiple bottles (2 or more)?
I am actually hoping to buy four bottles for my wife and I at 50% off and use them throughout the cruise. Anyone been able to pull this off.
I am looking for POST-COVID experiences.
Thanks,
Neal

Thanks for the update.

During a visit to Ensenada pre-covid, we enjoyed inexpensive tacos in a little hole in the wall spot right next door to Hussongs. Of course, we had a few margaritas at Hussongs for dessert. When we came back post-covid the hole in the wall was closed. On the next visit it looked like the place had been redone but was not yet open.
Has anybody been to Hussongs and is the taco place open? If you ate there, was it good?
Thanks,
Neal

We have used Quality Town Car for sedans and SUVs. Great customer service and very reliable. https://qualitytowncar.com

The cruise option is available but only a few days out. The questions seem very detailed and unnecessary. Hopefully they will S#$%Can the ArrivCan app soon.

I also have an ArrivCan question. I have not had an opportunity to use the app yet, but we have an upcoming cruise from San Diego to Vancouver. Assuming we are tested onboard by Celebrity prior to arriving in Victoria, how do the test results get into the app? Our Internet access will be limited while at sea.
Thanks,
Neal

We live in Las Vegas and cruise out of LA frequently. We have stayed over in Rancho Cucamonga and have also made the full trip to San Pedro/Long Beach. It's only about 1 hour (without traffic) to continue on to the cruise port.
For weekend departures you can stay in RC and save some $$ on a room. During the week I would listen to the advice offered above.

We used it in October of 2021. We got off of the NCL Encore in Seattle for the last Alaska of the season and Port Valeted our luggage thru to Long Beach Airport to board the NCL Bliss the next day. All of our luggage arrived at LGB without a problem.
You also can reserve the Port Valet online in advance as long as you have your flight info.

I could not get our info input using my ANDROID phone, but had no problem using my APPLE Ipad.

Do you live in Vegas (listed under your name)? You could easily drive to the port the day before.
Thanks, I didn't realize. Just kidding. We fly for free (points) with Southwest, making it far less expensive to fly than to drive, hotel, meals, time.

Apparently once you have made final payment, customer service does not know how to add this or even tell me that it isn't available.

First time Princess cruiser here and i have a question that customer service seems unable to answer.
I'm looking for information about the airport transfers that does not appear to be available on the Princess website.
1. Is the transfer available from Long Beach Airport?
2. If so, what is the cost?
Thanks

Can't wait to read all of the threads now complaining because people didn't get their second set of towels each day.
Keep in mind we are only getting one service per day. When we cruised the Vista in August, our room steward gave us a choice of AM or PM service. On the Radiance inaugural sailing, our room steward did not give us a choice. It was mid-day service only. I am sure you could call for those extra towels if you need them.

So if Panorama is denied port entry at PV, Mazatlan and Cabo does this put Carnival in violation of the PVSA?

Thanks for the info. Starts to sound like one and done.

After cruising extensively with NCL, Carnival and Celebrity we are going on our first Princess cruise on the Discovery Princess (4/17/22). We have a casino offer and will not have the Princess Plus package. Does Princess offer multiple bottle wine packages? Does anyone have any recent pricing & offering information?
Thanks

Good to see you are at the town dock, and not the AJ dock (which requires the shuttle). Just walk off the ship and enjoy.

NCL Bliss from San Pedro starting October 24th.
-
I'm thinking that this boarding will be a disaster, but worth it. Too many firsts. Since Covid this is the first out of San Pedro, first Bliss since, first testing at San Pedro. I'm planning on being the last shuttle over to the port from the Crowne Plaza, assuming they restart the shuttle.
I'm also hoping somebody will be reporting the situation live that day.

The birth certificate does not have to have a raised seal, but it does need to be issued by a Govt agency. I had sent my passport in for renewal and realized that my bc was an old original photocopy. While it was issued by the NYC Dept of Health, it look like the first ever photocopy.
I ordered the new one online and received it in plenty of time. No raised seal, but other approved security markings. Carnival had no problem with my new bc.
My passport arrived by USPS Priority express 4 hours after we departed for our flight. I did pay for expedited service and it took 26 days total to process, door to door.

I believe so. You can pre-book at Port Valet (maketraveleasier.com).
