Every time we leave from Canada Place, the sequence of processing seems to change. Security first, then Customs and finally NCL check in. Last time it seemed like NCL first then security and customs. So my question to anyone that has processed thru CP recently, what is the order of processing these days.
We are leaving on a three ship day so things will be hectic. We have priority check in with NCL, but that does not help with security and Customs.
Thanks

We are doing the October 28th sailing and are also looking for details on post-cruise excursions. I called NCL for more info and was told that there should be some excursions available before sailing. Nothing yet.

We just got off the Jewel Sunday. The show times were 7:15 and 9:15. We made reservations each night at 5:30 and had plenty of time to get seats for the 7:15 show.

We got off the NCL Sun on May 25th. The table rake was 10% up to $25. Here in Las Vegas we usually stop at $4.

We decided to rent from Alamo for the journey from SeaTac to Vancouver and back. Alamo has a kiosk at Canada Place so I was expecting this transaction to be very convenient.
The Consolidated Car Rental center at SeaTac is easily accessed via shuttle from the terminals. There is staff there to help you load your luggage at the terminal and to help unload at the Rental Center. They also have free carts to load your luggage on so it’s easy to roll inside to the counters and then down to your vehicle.
The tricky part is when you go to return the vehicle at Canada Place. It’s really easy once you know what to do. That’s why I am writing this post, to make it easier for everyone else.
There is no need to drop your luggage at the curb first. If you do, as we did, you will need to leave the terminal and drive around the block. We were lucky that it was Victoria Day, so traffic was light. You can just enter the parking garage heading north on Howe St. The far right lane is for taxis staging so be in the second lane from the curb. Once you enter the garage get a parking ticket and follow signs to the car rental return. Park in the spots labeled for Alamo and drop the key in the box by pole #9. The Alamo parking spots are right next to the elevator so just take it up one level. You can check your luggage here at the curb. There is no need to go to the Alamo counter, but take note of where it is if you will be renting for the return to SeaTac. Now you get to suffer through the normal embarkation process.
Upon your return and debarkation head straight to the Alamo counter. Things move a little slow here as the Alamo staff needs to process your reservation and then walk you down to the vehicle. They will help with your luggage, find your vehicle, do a quick inspection and give you a ticket to exit the parking garage. Just follow the signs to exit and enjoy the ride back to Seattle
Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the info. The Mariners are playing that night, but later that evening. We should be past the border before 5pm. Using the HOV lane should make a difference. If we get caught in a little slow down it will just give me some time to enjoy the sights.
Dan, we considered the shuttle, etc. We are arriving at SeaTac two days before our cruise and will be staying at the new Elements hotel in Burnaby. It will make life much easier with a car, and then just dropping it off at the pier Monday morning. We caught a great rate on the car ($75/day + taxes/fees. NO drop fee).
Thanks again.

We'll be driving up from SeaTac to Vancouver for May 18 NCL Sun departure. Is it worth bypassing I-5 and Seattle and taking the 405 north? We fly in on Saturday 5/16 and should be leaving the rent-a-car center around 1:30pm.
Google indicates similar travel times, but doesn't reflect real life situations. I'm not worried about the border crossing, just not getting stuck in heavy traffic.
Thanks,
Neal
